Loved the old setting style. Sofas a plus. A real good feel. Having the freedom to have a glass of wine or an old fashioned cuppa whilst watching your favourite movie. Not keen on front row, a bit too close

Old school cinema, watch a film with a slice of cake and a glass of wine. Sometimes difficult to get tickets though.

Small independent cinema showing good mix of mainstream and art house films, esp foreign language ones. Great, helpful staff, yummy cakes & coffee to buy and if you're a member (£1 off ticket price) it's cheaper than the big chains.

Always wanted to sit in a sofa at the cinema! Well it was better than I imagined very comfy, able to take drinks in with you (ice bucket and chilled wine) very reasonably priced.Toilets are worth a visit wine very clean and individual white fluffy towels for drying your hands. Belper you are very lucky.

Just brilliant! Get up to date films (plus some older ones) in lovely surroundings with the feel of a real local asset.

If only every cinema was like this one. Lovely comfortable seats where you can kick back with a beer and watch a good film without distraction. The only slight negative is how difficult it is to book, but why wouldn't it be. It's great!

We can't help trying to book the sofa's - they are really comfy -- but all the seating is really good - being able to watch great movies in such a lovely Cinema is brilliant.

I absolutely love this place and would always choose it to watch a film over going to the other larger venues. It is much more intimate. You have plenty of room as the seats are better spaced.

I would recommend this cinema to anyone living in the area or visiting. It is extremely well looked after and their is a very good choice of food/drinks and the seating is fantastic & there are options to suit everyone. Visit once and you'll be back!!

It is so nice to go somewhere that is original.. I love being able to have a glass of wine or a coffee and cake whilst watching the movie. Personally I prefer to watch films that suit the environment so go for more relaxing or drama types, leaving the modern complex for the action films although this is just personal... More
