I had no idea there was a path around the reservoir until we pulled up into a parking spot nearby. On a whim we decided to follow it and it goes all the way round the reservoir. Its not steep and is good for cycling. There are toilets/cafe at one end as well. The walk was lovely as you are... More

Walked the 10 miles around the dams, as two years previously we biked. Although it was hard work it was a big acheivement for me. Spectacular scenery to see on the way round, and very tourists also. This is a must.

Great place to walk. There were lots of different length walks to do. Toilets and cafe to get drinks, sandwiches. Easy parking.

Great walks all round this reservoir, including walking across the dam. Stunning views and photos at sunset.

Lovely walk round the reservoir. All in all I think it is about 6 miles so bring water and a picnic as we stopped off about halfway round to enjoy the scenery. It is a lovely walk for dog owners although I would keep them on a lead as you share the road with cyclists and now and then grazing... More

nice walk around,even better if you go up high,views are great,cafe,toilets there ,great to see the dams that was used for bouncing bomb in world war 2

Lovely walk by the reservoir, great views and countryside. Nice tea and cake from the shop as well. Watch out for cyclists though!

We were eating at the Ladybower Inn, and were able to park in their car park (with their permission) and walk down to the reservoir.
