I was a member of the sailing club for several years and keep coming back to cycle or walk the circuit around the lake. pick a sunny day but prepare for showers, this is the peaks after all. Lovely scenery and lots of activities. Camping and cottages to let in abundance

Rode the 8 miles circuit around the reservoir with the family. A lot of exciting slopes. Well signaged paths although not suitable for the youngest with a simple bicycle. Ensure you go to the toilets before you ride! We'll be happy to come back soon!
