As well as the walks around the reservoir there are plenty of other things for a visit. Several shops including crafts and outdoor clothing. Pleasant restaurant with everything from a cup of tea with cake to hot lunches. Adventure playground for the children. Wildlife centre. The parking fee of £2.50 for 2 hours (or 3?) may be bit steep but... More

Spent almost a full day walking round the water watching all the activities that we're going on. They have a nice eating area plus little shops in a courtyard would be a wonderful place in the summer for a picnic

A lovely place to visit. Fab for long walks or cycling. A great place to spot wildlife. There is also a free interactive museum and a huge play area which are loved by the kids.

If you don't mind keeping your dogs on a lead this is an excellent place for a walk! Quite good paths and you can do a little or a lot of Ealing denuding on your fitness level. The restaurant was quite busy with Christmas dinner guests but still made us feel welcome! Nice soup and the Banana and chocolate cake... More

It being a couple of valleys away from were we live, being on the way to other places and being relatively attractive, we pop there, or past it often - ish. It's OK, usually busy, the shops are pleasant for a look round, and you an find some nice things and some bargains (if you look hard). The interactive museum... More

A great place to go for a nice long walk, especially with little ones (or people with mobility issues) as there is a good path. The stone beach is great fun and the monolith installation is nice for a visit. It's a shame that parts of the walk are locked up. like the environmental area and the marsh gardens, I... More

We thoroughly enjoying walking around Carsington and learning a little bit about the reservoir. The dog enjoyed it too! Next time maybe we will try cycling as most people looked to be enjoying the ride. There were some nice little surprises such as the Stones Island and the visitor centre was a welcome refreshment afterward. Great place for all ages... More

The unseen parts of the bike trail are near impossible for young children and no-go for wheelchairs or similar. There's a dreadful dog poo dumping problem! Why bag it up to leave it to stink and collect flies on the floors or tied to trees, dog owners?!?

Filled with many different things to do my daughter and I had plenty to keep us entertained for the whole day and the restaurant is a must too!
