Great place to visit. The tour guide was very informative and made his tour very interesting. Very child friendly! If in Cartmel, well worth a visit!
Lovely Priory, very interesting history, lots to look at inside if you like memorial stones and head stones. Was being renovated when we went. Would be lovely to visit when its all done

Very well kept priory currently having some internal work done. Arrived on a very wet afternoon to a warm welcome and an organ recitel in progress. Well worth a visit.
Cartmel Priory is a beautiful religious house. The architecture and history are just fascinating .... Such a worthwhile visit - and refreshing that donations are voluntary not compulsory ....
