The Hub is behind Alston station in a small industrial estate. It is staffed by volunteers and the opening times very much follow those of the South Tynedale Railway. It is full of old motorbikes, cars and black & white photos, depicting anything from mundane railway journeys in adverse weather conditions to the filming of "Oliver". Entry by donation (£1.50) More
