I would definitely recommend a day out here especially in the spring/summer months. I have been here a number of times with friends to have a stroll around, feed the animals, have a bite to eat and a look around the lovely farm shop. When I went I was lucky to see a wide range of different animals and feed... More

First of all this farm is lovely. There are plenty of animals to see and good playgrounds for the children to play on. However, there is a charge to even get in to see animals £3.50 per child. Plus they want you to pay to feed their own animals!!! The cost keeps rising frequently, despite inflation being so low!!!!!! hmmm... More

There is a very well stocked farm shop, which continues into an aladdin's cave of a gift shop. We were able to look around whilst our two year old was asleep, otherwise she would have been fed up before we had got half way round. There is also a garden shop with a few plants. We eventually found the large... More

Ive been coming here for years, first with the children but now on my own. I like to have a look round and get a few bits. Over the last few years something has altered and has ruined the experience drastically. There use to be a warm friendly atmosphere about the place but now its just another under staffed unpleasant... More

We went during a mid-week afternoon, not during school holidays, and it was very busy. There is plenty of stuff if you want a farm shop or a kids play area but not that you should pay £3.50 to look at a few animals... which considering there was not many there struck me as a bit steep. There was also... More

Took the grandchildren on Saturday had to pay £3.50 each to play on the play equipment can do that at a local park for free. The animals were located in a barn, 3 pens of calves 1 pen of goats and 3 very large pigs. Would have expected to see more animals on a farm. Really its a garden centre... More

Nice little Farm for young children to see, only a few animals, lovely shop and friendly cafe to eat at, would be better if you didnt have to pay to use the play area for the children, works out abit expensive. nice on a sunny afternoon.

Not many animals at all considering it's a farm! They were mainly located in the barn area where the kids were more interested in playing on the hay bales and having straw fights than the actual animals. Visited during half term and noticed they have changed their pricing policy from a couple of pound suggested donation to £3.50 per child.... More

Wheelock farm has plenty to see and do, prices are a little ridiculous to play on the park and to see the animals, but the facilities are very clean.
