Shop & farm are good, but anything more than a cup of tea from the cafe stretches them beyond their ability. You'd think a simple order of tea for two, soup of the day and a tuna sandwich wouldn't be too taxing. After waiting 25 mins fro the food I had to go and find out if there was any... More

Popped into the farm shop, where all manner of marvellous things are sold last sunday (30th Nov) and surprised my wife by having a sunday dinner ready when she came home from work. I chose a Family sized steak pie and i have to say it was just like my Gran used to make!

The shop has some nice produce and you should be able to buy a gift for anyone there. Its nice to see some animals but to charge admission for children to a very average play area feels like a rip off.

The provision for very young children is very good, and we used to go regularly for brief visits while shopping in the excellent farm shop. Now the cost has risen 7-fold these visits have had to stop as little ones can't sustain interest long enough to make it worthwhile. The shop and restaurant miss out on our custom too of... More

this business employ mostly teenagers on a few quid per hr and it shows. while there a customer complained about meal and service, top price and poor service, to be spoken to as if dirt by the owner. if she had spoke to me like that I would of not been very happy. over priced nick nacks in the shop,... Nice farm gift shop also serving ice creams The tea rooms are reasonable but very slow service took 25mins just to queue and order then another 40 min wait for food (childrens box -crisps chocolate frog, drink and sandwich £3.50, tuna sandwich served with salad £3.95 and a full english breakfast £6.95) but the food was good quality really nice... Reasonably priced food and very handy when visiting the farm shop, plenty of tables and also picnic tables outside. Do not bring the children to the playground anymore as £3.50 each to enter is far too expensive; would come more often otherwise.

We visited here last week with our 2 children (aged 2 & 3) and whilst we all enjoyed our couple of hours here, we both thought the admission price at £3.50 per child for the playground was a bit pricey as it was not suitable for our youngest child. Having said that we did enjoy feeding the animals and looking... More

My children were playing on the haystacks. My son fell off the back of one of them. Which was a good five foot drop into the cows enclosure!! Luckily my son wasn't hurt as he fell feet first and the cows were outside! I was horrified by this set up and went to find the owners which were unavailable to... More

Stumbled across this place whilst looking for somewhere to meet up with a friend and her children and am so glad I did! The positives: 2 lovely large play areas with a variety of things to do but all based round kids being active Maize maze just the right size and you can go in as many times as you... More
