Surprised a coffee shop of this size does not have a proper coffee machine

Not great if you like decaf lattes! They don't do them. Noisy due to heavy chairs on tiled floor. Helpful staff and food ok.

Good light lunch, house, garden and gift shopping and fun for the children too! Swings, animals, food, tea rooms, gift shop, items for the garden, fresh quality farm food. This place has everything!

Never had to deal with such rude people before. I took a group of special school pupils and had called prior to the visit to ask about group prices. We were told to call into the shop on arriving which we did only to be met by a lady who gave us a group discount but then began to rant... More

Actually there's so much more to Wheelock Farm! Yes the fresh produce is of a high standard. But so are the gift! There is such a wide selection of high quality ideas. The cafe is clean and most welcoming. Christmas time is magical!

Farm shop of average standard. Think they are perhaps trying to sell too much, food, toys, gifts, cards, furnishings, welling tons , etc etc. Cafe ok, can be very noisy, especially when children are off school. Food, although simple, can be good, all depends what staff are on, that day! Generally a good venue for family and all, may be over... More

Went here with two adults and 4 children aged 10. One off the boys ran off and jumped over the wall as we walked in. As a good parent we all walked over to the wall and explained to the boy we had to pay first as he had to have a stamp on his hand. As I was explaining... More

I have always enjoyed going to Wheelock with my daughter who has just turned one, but I was really disappointed to see on this visit that there is now a £3.50 charge for children who are one and over. £3.50 any child never mind a one year old who can only go on limited things in the play area seems... Been a while since I last visited the farm and there has been many changes. The farm used to be free and you paid for the play area but now there is a charge of 3.50 per child to get into the farm and activities bit. Then 50p for a bag of animal food. Whilst I think this could put... More

I can't believe this was our first visit here. We had a great time. The kids loved the lambs and piglets and spent hours playing on the park. The on site tea room was really well priced and the food was was delicious. The farm so looked great although we did struggle to get around with a wheelchair as it... More

What a lovely place to visit. Animals well looked after and washing facilities. clean toilets, plenty of places to sit and eat and lots of swings slides etc for the kids to play. Weather today was wonderful which helped even more. Don't understand why people have said its expensive, you could take a pic-nick if you didn't want to buy... More
