An unexpected treat! Stumbled across this and delighted to find two super trails for kids, fairy glens and all sorts of hidden treasures to discover. The gardens are lovely with nooks and crannies, steps and hidden caves. The sculptures and trails are great. Friendly staff too.

These are the best gardens in the area, so good that I have a joint yearly membership so I can go as often as I like. Spring is good for the Azaleas and Rhododendrons, Autumn is good for the leaf colours. Summer is good for so many reasons, too many things to list. Allow plenty of time to see everything,... More

The hall was closed when we arrived for a private function which left the gardens. We duly paid £34 for the 4 of us, immediately visiting the cafe. Ordering drinks and a scone each we took a seat and were duly served the teas and coffee'. Twenty minutes later and we had finished our drinks but still no scones. We... More

We decided not to pay to go in the house, which was a good decision as we would not have had the time to do both. The gardens don't appear to be that big when you first arrive, but check the map as it is a large area. Lovely herbaceous borders, lots of little walks, and quite a steep path... More

We visited the gardens as a treat for my husband's 60th birthday. The weather was glorious and showed off the gardens at their best. The rhododendrons and azalias were amazing as well as the fairy glen in the Grove - great for kids! We spent at least 3 hours here - we also had a lovely light lunch in the... More

The gardens here are excellent. Our visit was initially marred by our misunderstanding of unclear information on the website, which we discovered was also a mistake made by several others while we were there. 'Arley Hall & Gardens' implies that this is stately home first and foremost, with access to gardens. I have checked the website again after my mistake,... More

We have been going to Arley for many years and it has never disappointed. The gardens are spectacular full of colour and something new around each corner. There is something for everyone. Peaceful walks, an interesting house, a lovely cafe and a well stocked gift shop. For us the garden is the go us of our visit. It gives us... More

Used a Gardeners World Mag 2 for 1 offer, so only £8.25 entry for garden. Enjoyed an afternoon visit in early June, and wished we had more time to visit the second garden area. Plenty of plants, borders and features although some plots had excessive weed growth and failing infrastructure - so needs some tlc / investment particularly the first... More

The house is most interesting was well worth the visit. for some reason they sell the attraction on the gardens rather than the house so you could see the gardens for £8 or the gardens and house for £11. I think I would have been disappointed if 2 of us had spent £22 but we did have a 2 for... More
