Myself and a friend visited during their 'Halloween Spooktacular' on a Saturday afternoon in late October. The Zoo is located within Reaseheath College. Adults = £5. Children (3-16yo) and concessions = £4. Pros: -Free car park. -Helpful staff. -Well-maintained premises. -Numerous animals to view including rabbits, reptiles, meerkats and monkeys. The majority of animals can be viewed indoors, so it... More

I went here with my 13 year old daughter who is mad about animals. The directions on the website were great we got to the carpark straight away. We were a bit confused about which way to go but we managed. It is very reasonably priced £5 adults £4 children. The students are around and you are welcome to ask... More

We visited the zoo today and I had prebooked a Lemur encounter at 2pm for my 11 year old daughter. We arrived in plenty of time and were allowed to go around the zoo area. We first encountered the zoo last year and were pleasantly surprised at the variety of animals - and how well they are kept. The Lemur... More

This is an amazing place to visit and it is even more amazing that is on the outskirts of Nantwich! A wonderful environment for animals and a great place for students to learn. All the students we met knew the animals they were working with really well and as it smaller than many animal reserves, you got to know the... More

As we live quite close, ive always been curious to see the zoo. So when we seen an open day we jumped at the chance to see the animals. Ok, so its not chester zoo....but its a college with a zoo for learning purposes. I think the key to enjoying the day is getting an enthusiastic keeper/instructor to show you... More

What a fabulous small zoo. We visited today and whilst there took part in the Lemur experience, Alan Woodward the guide was excellent and made the whole experience fantastic. Great for an afternoon out in Cheshire.

There's nothing special about the Zoo, no WOW factor. I took 3 children along who got bored quite quickly. We listened to the Meerkat keeper talk for all of 2 minutes about the animals, the talk was dull and lacked enthusiasm. No body turned up with the ferrets at the time and location they advertised. The staff were friendly and... More
