seems to have been done on the cheap. not really a zoo more a small collection of animals attached to what was once a wonderful agricultural college. now I am not sure what the college is. it seems to have lost its links to Nantwich.

Went here yesterday for the first time with my 5yr old and 2yr old. They loved it! Very good value for money, only £9 in total as under 3's free. Staff very friendly and lots of animals to see from fish, monkeys, lemurs, rabbits, snakes and more. We spent a couple of hours here and took a picnic which I... More

I was lucky enough to get a tour of the zoo when I went to Reaseheath on a Saturday to do a dog training course. I was amazed at the number of animals they had!! The person showing us round, worked in the zoo and was knowledgeable about all the animals.

We've been to Reaseheath Zoo a few times over the past few years, as it's close, and have a surprising range of animals. We went on the day that the college were doing admissions for September, so there were lots of potential students and parents around. I would say for this zoo, never expect it to be as polished as... A trip during the summer holidays. Many of the pens were empty and the info for visitors very thin. As others have observed, the main purpose of the zoo is training and my little party didn't feel very welcome. There seemed to be nobody interested in visitors and we felt like we were trespassing! Given that the most likely visitors... More

We visited this zoo over the summer holidays. Staff were helpful and the children got to stroke some animals. Mostly small animals, the meerkats were our favourite. It didn't take very long to see all the animals and there was a lot of empty areas with signs about redevelopment and come back next year to see. Didn't think it was... More

We came during the lambing which was interesting, however the zoo is quite small with not many typical large zoo animals. I think this is mainly because Reaseheath is mainly a college and the animals they have the are mainly for student training? Overall not a bad experience though, with some cute creatures, but will only fill a couple of... More

I must say me, my sister and her husband were left extremely disappointed after our visit. We all paid £5 each to enter. First we walked down the corridor with all of the reptiles but we just had to look through the window into the room where all of the glass exhibits were which was disappointing…especially when we came across... Had visited the zoo last year with my young children and had been very impressed, particularly with how intimate the zoo feels and how close you can get to the animal. This visit however has left me feeling very dissapointed. The toy tractors from the entrance of the maize maze (where you park for the zoo) seem to have disappeared,... More

I visited Reaseheath Zoo yesterday with my mum, and my 2 children aged 2 and a half and 3 months. It is reasonably priced, with tickets £5 for adults. We passed a happy 3 hours there. It is a smallish place but a good variety of animals. It is buggy friendly with changing facilities and undercover picnic tables in the... More
