Everything you would expect from a big posh hotel in the country. could not fault the food or the accomodation. The spa on the otherhad was horrible. I paid for a few treatments and they were all disappointing. Not just that the full body massage was so bad (the lady doing it was quite hung over) she forgot to do... More

Chose this hotel late in the day as i needed to stop over after a business trip to north west, I was very impressed with the quality and style of the property. I discovered that it is part of the handpicked hotel chain so will definitely be using them more in the future.

Visited this "spa" on Sunday 09/11/2015 with my sister and friend. This was my sister's first spa experience and unfortunately probably her last!! The place is trying to be too many thing and needs to make its mind up if its a Spa or Hotel with Leisure Facilities. Facilities really poor , Jacuzzi only part working and pool had numerous... Spent a day at the spa with friends. The treatments were good with nice, friendly therapists. I really did expect it to be more luxurious and was disappointed. I expected that the robes would be thick and fluffy but they were very thin, short and worn. Mine got wet in the jacuzzi and I was told by a snotty member... More

We had a spa day with lunch & 2 half hour treatments included. We both had a body scrub first & neither of us were impressed however the facial & massage were both good. The lunch & spa facilities were great. One of the best relaxation rooms I've been in. We did pay £29 for two small glasses of wine... More

A warm welcome from the reception staff and we were shown to our room which was well appointed with a comfortable large double bed, two armchairs with table, safe in the wardrobe, dressing gowns, slippers and coffee making facilities with a fridge for the milk. The bathroom had a separate shower and a bath with a TV. The evening meal... More

A smile and helpful demeanour really doesn’t cost anything, yet it can make such a difference to a stay. Who wants a grumpy waiter or receptionist? The Rookery have figured this out, and I have to say, their staff do this really well, making out stay at Rookery Hall Hotel and Spa a real delight. The hotel is based around... More

Myself and three friends went to Rookery Hall for a Spa day complete with champagne and scones in the afternoon. First impressions were good however that soon went downhill. Female changing rooms are all communal with no single changing cubicles. A relaxing spa day is not what you get due to the pool having 'family time' in the mornings and... More
