I guess that is why thousands of people come time after time to get their fix as they say :)Here at Snugburys we are not only famous for our ice cream, we also attract tens of thousands of visitors every summer to come and admire our huge straw sculptures. These impressive creations stand tall in our field along side the A51. Previous creations have included a 36 ft Meerkat and a working model of London’s Big Ben! « less

Lovely little place. Beautiful views and plenty of parking. Does get busy on a hot summers day but just shows how popular the place is! Yes the ice cream is slightly pricey however there are so many different flavours to choose from and to be honest, they taste delish! Enjoy :)

We visited for the first time today after hearing lots of good reviews. Lovely place, enjoyed seeing the huge Darlek! We stood outside reading the flavour board trying to decide which icecream to try (so many!!) and in the end we decided to have a '3 scoop' tub each - well this was a treat so why not! ;) Fiancés... We stopped off here as we were in the area ,they had a good choice of flavours and cones tubs etc . The did not supply napkins but were there I think if you asked for them . But the Pièce de résistance was the biggest Dalek that we have ever seen built out of straw in a big field... More

The ice cream here is lovely and they have a great variety of flavours, we went on a nice warm day so it was busy and although there appeared a big queue we spent hardly anytime waiting to be served.

Saw the huge darlek on the way to Chester and knew we has to go back on the way home, we weren't disappointed. Delicious ice cream with a huge selection of flavours. I have just come back from Italy and the ice cream here comes pretty close to it! Well worth a visit!

We motored down the Llangollen canal from Trevor with the aim of visiting Snugbury's. Having turned around at the last Winding hole before Hurleston we walked the last mile or so and found the directions and map sign Snugbury's put on the towpath to direct us to them. Follow the White Posts it said. We did, and we ended up... More

We visited Snugbury's after hearing wonderful things about it......we were not disappointed! Lots of choice of ice-cream and reasonable price, roughly £3-4 for 3 scoops, was nice to be able to wonder around the grounds and the straw dalek was impressive! Though there was a queue.....literally out of the door, this went down in a short space of time as... More

We visited on a rainy weekend and it was a shame that the only option was to return to the car to enjoy our ice creams. If there was some covered seating it would vastly improve this beautiful place and make us stay longer and have drinks etc! The ice cream was excellent although my husband was very disappointed that... More
