I guess that is why thousands of people come time after time to get their fix as they say :)Here at Snugburys we are not only famous for our ice cream, we also attract tens of thousands of visitors every summer to come and admire our huge straw sculptures. These impressive creations stand tall in our field along side the A51. Previous creations have included a 36 ft Meerkat and a working model of London’s Big Ben! « less

This place simply offers the best ice cream bar none. The quality and range of flavours is awesome and a treat for any occasion.

It is impossible to be within a 5 mile radius of this place in the summer and not have one of my family beg that we go! The ice cream is excellent quality and the selection of flavours is good, although what's on offer never seems to change. Prices are reasonable (they need to fund the Dalek after all). There... More

Went for an Ice-cream in the sunshine, daughter has a peanut allergy but naively thought this could be easily managed and catered for; how wrong I was! The attitude of the lady on the counter was that everything may contain nuts as it is on a nut production line. Won't be going again.

I live very locally to this place and for fellow people from Nantwich and surrounding areas it’s very convenient for a quick trip to snugburys. Don’t be fooled, it’s not exactly an attraction. You go for a taste of the ice cream, a look and the huge straw statue and of course the piggy’s. I always enjoy my trip, but... More

After years of driving past, pointing out the yearly straw statues, promising children that today we would visit on our way home, only to find it shut when we went back later - today, we finally visited Snugburys. The farm and buildings are just what I know to be a true representation of English country farms. The courtyard is decked... More

Living local, I take a trip every so often, great ice cream. Try to avoid on a hot day as you will be queuing for a while. Can watch the pigs whilst eating or have a walk and look at the attraction that changes every year

I've been coming here since before it was a proper shop and you had to get someone's attention from the factory and ask them to come and sell you an ice cream. It's changed a lot since then. The choice is huge, and they're all delicious. You can sit in the pretty cobbled courtyard to eat it, or take a... More

The amazing Da-Lick wire and straw statue drew us in to Snugbury's on our way to Wales, and we weren't sorry we stopped. I really think this is the best ice cream I've ever tasted. There was tons of choice. Between the five of us we had Death by Chocolate, White Mountain, Maple and Pecan, Honeycomb and English Toffee and... More
