Superb value and we had a full day there on Sunday May 19th. On arrival at the information office we booked the river trip and also the timed tour (part) of the House which is now also a luxury Hotel. The Grounds have everything you could want, amazing displays this time of the year of bluebells in the Woodlands and... More

Loved it here !! We are national trust members so free to get in, stunning gardens, beautiful scenery and walks through the woods down to the river. Wish it was nearer to us as i would be there all the time !! Cafe lovely too. Boys loved the maze, fun for all, a great day out !!

We visited on Sunday 4th May. Woodland walks have amazing displays of bluebells. Formal gardens have equally impressive displays of tulips and other plantings. Take your camera you'll not be disappointed. Highly recommended at any time of year though. We joined up to the National Trust so sure to be back as soon as we can.

I'm lucky enough to live quite close to Cliveden and with free entry as a National Trust member I visit often, sometimes just for an hour, sometimes for the day. I find it a very special place all year round with the gardens and woodland and on days where I feel a bit more energetic and have more time, the... More

Enjoyed a lovely morning here at Cliveden on Bank Holiday Monday. Despite it being the warmest day of the year, and the staff were under much pressure with the sheer amount of cars and people visiting - I thought they did a tremendous job at 'crowd control'!! Not the quietest of places and would have struggled to have found a... More

I would recommend Cliveden for any National Trust (NT) members as the gardens are expansive and it is a nice walk around the site - a good free day out. Lots of spots to have picnics and large expanses for children (and adults) to run about. There are not many 'unique' flowers or great displays to see - but it... More

For the National Trust Cliveden House is a little different. This is due to the house being a business, a very exclusive hotel. It is possible to have a ticketed, timed guided tour of the house but only on Thusdays and Sundays. My visit was on a Thursday and so I was able to go on a tour. The tour... More

The pleasure for me was that the hotel was not busy due to some construction work in front and so we probably got a good price. This did not detract from the quality and sublime beauty of our adjoining suites. The outlook over the manicured grounds was magnificent and the walks on the Trust land hard to beat. A couple... We visited Cliveden gardens, taking advantage of the National Trust offering free entry. The gardens have something for everyone, from an excellent child's play area, well maintained maze, beautiful formal garden, open space for playing to lovely wood land area and a delightful spot on the banks of the Thames. The gardens have so much space that even though the... More

Visited for the day with my niece and nephew ( aged 5 and 18 months). Beautiful gardens and walks in the woodland, friendly helpful staff, excellent catering facilities. The maze and water garden area was great fun and the children's play area was superb with range of activities and good facilities. Highly recommended.
