We stopped off here to bring a pair of junior Blyton obsessives to see the Enid Blyton room and have an early kids dinner. We were met with such incredible hospitality and warmth that it was a fantastic experience. The landlady was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and went to extraordinary lengths to keep us all happy - reinflated a bouncy castle,... More

We stopped off on our way to London. It had a lovely garden for my daughter Morgan to play in. It was a great pub the food was reasonably priced, the service was fantastic & very welcoming. I would definitely visit this pub again.

My husband and I stopped off here for lunch after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We both had a lovely traditional pub meal which was reasonably priced. We were fairly early (about 12.30) so were able to sit in the Enid Blyton room which has various original items related to her around the room including the chair she use to... More

We love this pub. Having first visited it some 3 years ago. Wonderful environment which is both welcoming and clean. Tina, landlady, has always been charming and professional as indeed are all staff members. Go with an appetite as food is fresh and good sized portions ... apart from the fish and chips which is simply huge! We make a... More

I found an old book in this charming nook of the pub that I had not read since I was a child (5 Go To Smugglers Top). All Enids works seem to be here. It was just nice to kick back enjoy a drink and some memories.

This became our local when we moved to Beaconsfield for 18 months. Strangely enough I never knew anything about the Enid Blyton Room despite the fact that I now realise we often sat in there, maybe they should make more of this. Landlady and bar staff were lovely, very friendly. They served good beer and decent food. They often had... More

I really wanted to visit this pub as I'd read almost all of Enid Blyton's books as a child. I was disappointed that there wasn't actually much to see here though. It did seem a little pretentious to call the room an "Enid Blyton room" as there was only a few photographs of her, a shelf of her books &... More

Dropped in for a spontaneous bite to eat on a Friday night. Busy place but efficient and friendly service. Nice range of bar food as as well as live music.
