Beautiful state park. Well worth the drive to the top. You can basically drive right to the top of Mt Constitution. Stunning Views on a clear day. Make sure you stop at the lakes on the way up.

This is a beautiful state park with many hiking trails and fantastic views of the San Juan Islands from the top of the mountain and along the way. There is a trail to Crescent Falls that is rated "easy" but is still steep enough that it could be difficult for a person with mobility issues. The Crescent Lake user area... More

That more can you want from nature? This state park has lots to do. It gets windy in the afternoon, but there is so much to do that you can plan your day to to as much as you want: Swimming, hiking, sailing, relaxing, shopping in Eastsound. If you don''t want to drive, take the Island bus. It runs several... More

We only had a few hours to spend here and was with someone with mobility issues. The views from Mount Constitution were really beautiful and easy enough to get to even for our friend with recent knee replacement. There was an information booth there and the volunteer working there was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Driving through the... More

We camped here 5 nights in August. Beautiful state park, nice camp grounds, lots to see and do. Went up to mt. constitution about 3 times, took a couple of hikes (cascade falls, twin lakes), did some fishing. Spent every afternoon at the beach area, enjoyed lopez island creamery icecream, the swim area is nice for all ages. They have... More

Just returned from 3 nights camping. People awake and talking, children screaming 'til after curfew. Car doors slamming, music blaring from incoming cars, loud Horseshoe Highway noise, person burning a fire when "burn ban" is in effect. Campsites are way too close together - no privacy. Positive side - beautiful park and island. Go to Roses Bakery in EastSound.

Beautiful setting atop Mt Constitution , and a great gift shop! I found lots of cool things, books and local arts and crafts including some great locally made lotions.

This state park has a wide variety of things to do and scenery to enjoy. I camped here with a bunch of dads and boys in the group camp by Mountain Lake in the middle of the park. There are several camping areas, some by lakes, some in the forest. The sites are spacious and include fire pits and picnic... More

Two friends and I hiked Mt. Constitution from the Mountain Lake trailhead, clockwise to the top and back down. It was one of the most beautiful hikes I've ever done. Heavily forested nearly the whole distance (6.7 miles roundtrip), so nice and cool even on a very sunny day in early August. Pretty steep terrain (elevation gain about 1500 ft... More

If you come to Orcas Island and don't at least spend part of a day in Moran State Park, you have missed one of the island's most beautiful attractions. If you hit it on a clear day the views from atop Mt. Constitution are breathtaking -- even on the hazy day we were there it was pretty awesome. Many hiking... More
