My first time for Ride The Rim was December 2015 after urging from a friend. I knew right away it is a place to bring future Big Island guests, returning with my husband and another friend in January 2016. Not only is it amazing fun to operate the ATV, the scenery of the beautiful, sacred Waipio valley is what you... More

This was a nice way to see the Waipio Valley from a high vantage point. The Honda ATV's were good and seemed well-maintained, our guide was very informative, and they were very careful about ensuring everyone could ride safely. While it was fun, and we have no specific complaints, we just didn't we feel it was worth the money.

This is a difficult review to write. Do your homework first! This is a 'cattle tour' and can have over 20 people on the trip in ATV's so it is slow. Many folks can't drive their ATV, so it really make for a tough time for the guides. The whole company is disorganized. We arrived and the check in location... More

We went 8 years ago. It was when they first opened up. We had a great time. We did notice they would not let us ride as fast as last time. We loved the swim and going to the waterfall. I would recommend this to anyone.

We really enjoyed our ATV riding with Ride the Rim. The ATVs were in great shape, the paths clear, and the guides super nice. We really appreciated how respectful the tour was of the sacred valley and the opportunity to learn more about the history of Hawaiian royalty in this place.

My husband and I, along with his family thoroughly enjoyed this experience. My husband and his family are avid ATVers and this was my first time, so I was extremely nervous. This company is very professional and safety oriented, which calmed all my nerves. They let me do an extra practice run by myself to ensure my confidence. The ATVs... More

This was a GREAT ATV tour! We had fun riding the ATV's through mud & water, and got to see some incredible views along the way. When we went in early September on this tour, we were lucky enough to have two large groups miss the departure deadline (lucky for us anyway). This meant there were only five of us... More

We arrived at 12:30 for the 1:00 excursion and found our group leaders waiting to take us by van to the site where we would get some instruction and a driving "test" to see if we were capable of driving this Honda ATV. After signing the necessary waiver paperwork and receiving the instruction, we were each given our helmets and... More

So much fun. Such a super way to explore the BI. I rode in a side by side with my daughter. We got super muddy, but my husband & others didn't get a speck of dirt. Great for all ages- 8-80 in our group. My parents ride in a buggy & had a great time. I enjoyed listening to the... More

Went ATVing with my husband, I have never ridden one before but picked it up very quickly. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The ride was fun, safe and slightly muddy. The stops were breathtaking and one of the highlights of our trip. Learned a lot about Hawaii history and agriculture. Highly recommend.
