I just got back from a wonderful trip with XTC Dive Center. I went on multiple dives and an amazing trip to swim with American crocodiles! The dive sites were beautiful and the crocodiles defy description. The staff were exceptionally kind, accommodating, and knowledgable. Everyone was welcoming and engaging. I highly recommend a visit and can't wait to go back!

Wonderful day trip with Fabian snorkeling. Next time we return we will learn how to dive! We had a great lunch with sandwiches and fruit and seeing the Mayan River that connects the Caribean to Lake Chetumal was beautiful The snorkeling was incredible. Fun bar for an afternoon cerveza.

Professional all the way. Great diving and felt like I was in good hands. Tarpon Hol was an amazing dive site and right in front of the shop. They have a resident PADI Course Director and active shop. I'll be back.

We had a great time!!. From the management, office, restaurant, boat captains, dive leaders and instructors, all provided us excellent, friendly service. We recommend the upstairs suite room in Flying Cloud Hotel (on the premises). We also stayed in Gaiio Cabanas, basic but very clean and safe, recommended if you are on a budget. From a dive instructional/training perspective, some... More

Being an only very recently certified, inexperienced diver I have been very well taken care of by Steff who accompanied our group to two great diving sites. Thank you very much!

This has to be the best dive center we have ever visited and it is impressive given the remoteness of the location. The amount investment which has gone into the facility is impress and will not be lost upon its clientele. We were received by Ollie, who was very knowledgeable and welcoming. We dove with Ollie, Sebass and Steph who... More

Top notch diving instruction facility & recreational diving operation. We stayed at the dive center, the rooms were spotless clean and very comfortable. I recommend the 3rd floor room. Stunning views and a great breeze. The restaurant serves up great food. The staff is very attentive. Special thank you to Shannon and Peggy in the office for getting us set... More

Overall satisfaction score    (0-10). 8.0 Safety.     Score.  4.0 Boats.  The boats they have don"t have an attached ladder so the ladder moves up and down and along the side of the boat, since the sea at Xcalak is rough most of the time. I almost smashed my hand in between the ladder and the boat twice. The... More

XTC and Barna Takats from Encounters (Encounters.com.mx) came through with an incredible, awe inspiring 4 days: 3 in Banco Chinchorro snorkeling with Crocs (yes probably the only place on the planet this can be done safely!) and diving with the friendliest nurse sharks in the world!!! Followed by 2 dives on the last day with giant Tarpons. Well organized, safe,... More
