This was our best day on the cruise. So relaxing, we didn't want to leave. The guys are the best , right there to get drinks, food, whatever. We floated around on chair floats and they waded out to give you your drink or another basket of chips & salsa. The water was very clear the day we were there.... More

We waited 15 minutes for a taxi to take us to Costa Maya in the Cruise Port as instructed in our email, and then started leaving the cruise port in order to get a taxi outside of the cruise port. At that moment the taxi manager came running over to tell us he had a taxi for us.... why he... More

I'll start with the good....the drinks were plentiful and the food was good. The staff was friendly and helpful, although I must admit that I did find Zach to be a little bit too much. I was not a fan of the water. It was tea coloured and very murky. There is minimal to see when snorkelling. The beach next... More

We have no control and don't have authorization to work on my neighbors property. If so, we would of had any debris cleaned up. I am sorry you felt it necessary to give us a 3 star for something we have no control over. I am glad you enjoyed the restaurant, drinks, and service. This is the forum for restaurants,... More

Just got back a few days ago and wish I was back at Maya Chan eating a fish taco, throwing back another shot of 1800 and drinking a Pacifico. The day prior, we did another all-inclusive at Isla Pasion, Cozumel. In comparison, Maya Chan is way more intimate. Transport from the pier is included in the price, approximately a 20... More

Wow, with the volume of five star reviews here I am swimming against the tide...but here goes. Maybe I missed something, this is a nice place, but something is lacking, namely, blue-green water, and isn't that the huge appeal for a resort of this nature? Otherwise the setting is gorgeous, palm trees galore, a restful setting, very relaxing. I had... More

Glad you enjoyed the food and service. That is what you are reviewing on this forum. We are not a snorkel excursion. We are not a snorkel resort. We have a very sandy shallow area in front of the restaurant, which has been very popular with our older guests and children floating in our floats Color of the water is... More

While on a Carnival Cruise, my group of 8 decided to spend the day @ Maya Chan Beach resort. What a great choice it turned out to be. They picked us up at the port in a nice a/c bus and after a short trip we were welcome with open arms. The resort is small, only so many are allowed... More

This place exceeded our expectations and that is saying a lot. Starting with Zach, who met us when we got off the Van, to all the great staff, they proved they aimed to please. We are just back from a great Cruise on the Jewel and the day at Maya Chan was the highlight. We celebrated my wife's 60 Birthday... More

While calling this a "resort" may invoke expectations of pools that cover acres, and pavement for days on end... think again! NOT at all a disappointment, this lovely family-owned beach is truly a "post card" spot... and JUST what my family found to be "perfect"! Owner Mark and his son David were the best of hosts... from the welcome with... More

Maya Chan Resort restricts the number of visitors it will host to ensure each guest receives personalized attention. Once you book, everything is taken care of – even your cab fare to and from the ship to the resort. Each guest/family/group is assigned a beach area with loungers, beach chairs, hammocks, sun umbrellas and/or palapa. Despite the naturally-growing turtle grass... More
