We arrived in Costa Maya by cruse ship. We were shocked at how far the tour office was from the pier. If you are arriving by ship, please allow yourself plenty of time to walk to the office to make sure you are on time for your excursion. It is within walking distance to the pier, but keep in mind,... More

I just came back from a Caribbean cruise and had to post a review for Native Choice. My friend and I took the Tulum Ruins tour from Cozumel. Raquel met us at the ferry and took good care of us making sure we had snacks and water. David the guide and Pedro the driver met us at the end of... More

We did the ruins and Lagoon combination. Our great tour guide was Erick. We received a wealth of information on our way to the ruins and while touring the ruins. I loved how we arrived prior to the cruise ship excursions giving us the opportunity to walk around and take pictures without the crowds. The next stop was the lagoon... More

Fantastic 4 hour tour of these beautiful ruins. Our guide Frine Garcia was absolutely wonderful. She had such great knowledge of the history of the whole area. The 1 hour air conditioned, comfortable van ride seemed like a few minutes with Frine's entertaining talk on the way there. We were one of the first groups there, so we felt like... More

We booked this adventure through Expedia and were extremely happy! The tour groups were small 6-10 people in a new updated mini bus, cool and comfortable, driven well by Raul. Erick gave us informative and fun info on the Mayan culture on the bus ride and at the ruins. Then 6 of us, were off to the 7 color lake,... More

Booked with Native Choices, this tour is a combination of a visit to the Mayan Ruins then on to Seven Color Lagoon. The Mayan Ruins trip was very educational based on an extensive knowledge of our guide Erick. A change of guide to Raquel and a short bus trip took us to a remote lagoon where you could swim or... When visiting Costa Maya, there a very few things to do in port (other than shopping and swimming/eating at Senor Frogs). We booked a tour with Native Choice to visit the Chacchoben Maya Ruins. Once arriving at port, the walk to the office is about 10 minutes away (but they'll drop you off right at port at the end of... More

We visited Costa Maya as part of the Carnival Glory cruise. We had arranged a tour via Native Choice prior to our trip. We made all the arrangements on-line; the website was very user friendly, and their follow-up via e-mail was very clear. They met us just right outside the port, and although we were a few minutes late, our... More

My daughters (ages 12 and 15) and I took the Mayan Experience tour in August 2014. We found our way to the Native Choice tour office easily enough (with their emailed instructions). Be aware that theirs is the only office that isn't near the cruise ship port, it's about a 10 minute walk. We were in a tour group with... More
