This is a pleasant place to play golf. Our cart ran out of battery power on the second day, but the staff was quickly there with another. There are some funky holes, Norman's 600 yard from the blues, but it was fun. There are no real unfair holes, which is what should be the story on a vacation course. I... More

I just returned from my annual trip to PV and thoroughly enjoyed playing Litibu, AGAIN. My foursome played 2 consecutive days at 10am, and had the entire golf course to ourselves! Only 3 weeks ago when trying to make advance reservations, we had been told the course was closed due to drought. We were thrilled to learn only a few... More

Nothing in the pro shop worked...so bring cash. Course was under repair but still very nice. It was hard to get a good tee time. Closed the course on short notice. I loved how close it is located to the resort.

Just had my first visit to the Iberostar Playa Mita and Libitu. I really like this course. The Greg Norman designed track is not high-sloped (119 from blue tees at 6731 yards) but can be challenging all the same. White tees are sloped at 115 at 6325 yards. There are lots of sand traps both in fairways and around the... More

This was our first time on a course designed like this, and actually had an exceptional round. It was a very fun course to play, for the moment, it's very quiet, especially in the afternoons, which is good for the moment, because they schedule a bit awkwardly, between booking singles after large groups, and they having to let people play... Layout of the course and seeing the mountains and the ocean. was breath taking.First time playing on a Greg Norman designed golf course. I really enjoyed playing on the "Paspalum Seadwarf Grass because I was able to stop and back up my ball on the greens for the first time.

Well maintained, good value; $80 for early morning; $50 for late afternoon. Hole #4 and #18 on the beach, not very crowded. I found it to be a lot of fun.

We played Litibu again in February with a group of 16 guys on a buddy golf trip. We go down every year and play a 8 man vs 8 man Ryder Cup. Litibu was included in our rotation the past three years. Litibu is a challenging course to score well on but a wide open enough course to enjoy. It... More

Litibu is new, but the years will mature it perfectly. The addition of a clubhouse will also bode well.
