This was our last stop on our 4 night cruise on the Norwegian Skye. It was such a great way to end our trip. We snorkeled and saw lots of colorful fish and walked all over the island. We did walk down to the light house. I wish I had been brave enough to snorkel over there. The wasted was... More

We visited this island on the 4 day cruise aboard the Norweigian Sky cruise ship. It was a wonderful place and the weather was great but the time way too short and only one day. I think the ship should spend two days here and skip the stop in Freeport.

I went to Stirrup Cay via Norwegian Sky. It was a beautiful beach. I wish we had been told we could not bring shells back on the ship, I spent considerable time digging up some pretty ones only to have them taken away when I went through the security check getting back on the ship. The water was cold, but... More

We took a short 3 day NCL cruise and on Sunday we stopped over at GSC. My review is of the small portion of the island that we parked ourselves at for the entire day. We rented a small cabana and if you value privacy and quiet I highly recommend that you go this route. We are not in to... More

The island is Norwegian Cruise Lines private Island and it shows that they've put a lot of work and money into it. I was there in the Fall of 2013 and since then it's come a long way. The Beaches are still nice but there are now hiking trails and more cabanas. Bacardi has sponsored a huge bar and it's... More

NCL's private island is well worth getting off of the ship for. The beaches are amazing, the water is pristine, the facilities are well thought out and cared for, and the food is very good. I have gone to Great Stirrup Cay five times now, and am impressed with how much it has grown, and how they continue to improve... More

GSC was our second stop during a 3-day late December 2014 cruise on the Norwegian Sky (the other stop being Nassau). My wife and I very much enjoyed that particular Sunday on GSC, especially since we rented one of NCL's small cabanas. The weather was great that day. I knew beforehand that I would probably enjoy the shade and relative... More

Loved this island owned by Norwegian cruise line. This was our first stop. Weather was amazing, white sand, nice breezes. Be sure to walk further down the beach because there is a beautiful lagoon. Only con would be how rocky it is to walk into the water--bring water shoes (I did not :( . People said snorkeling was great.

We were here off the MSC Divina. It was a very nice beach - the island itself and the bathrooms were super clean. We did the stingray excursion which was outstanding. The guides were incredibly friendly and helpful. On our walk back to the beach from the water excursion, we took a lovely stroll through a paved rocky area that... More

We booked an excursion on this Norwegian Cruise Line private island to snorkel with the stingrays. They are in a large enclosed area, so you are sure to interact with them. The guides gave good information about how to handle them, and we were allowed to pet them, hold them and feed them. After we did that, we snorkeled on... More
