We spent a day on Stirrup Cay island as it was a stop on our Norwegian Sky cruise. The Island is owned by NCL and food and drinks are included. The Island is okay and you have a nice day on the beach or to go snorkel (material can be hired there and charged on your ship account). It is... More

Secluded island in Bahamas. The few shops that are on the island are expensive! The beach has white soft sand and beautiful torquise water. One part of the beach is very rocky. If you want relaxation and beach this is it! If you want souvenirs or food, this is not the place to go.

The Norwegian Sky cruise had this location as one of their destinations. Overall, the place was a bit cumbersome to get to -- you have to take a tender off of the ship -- and once there, it was a bit packed. However, If you walk a bit further than the first beach where almost every cruisers settles, there are... More

The Norwegian Cruise Line owns and operates this island and we stopped here for a day when we sailed with the Norwegian Sky on a 4 day Bahamas trip. They have everything figured out on this island and it was a great day. We rented snorkels on the beach, which is the exact same price as the excursion you can... More

Great desert island. Norwegian put on a beach BBQ, plenty of picnic tables on the shade. Full bar available. Book your tender spot as soon as you board your Norwegian ship on their iConcierge app. Lovely 2 km round trip walk to the lighthouse with humming birds and iguanas along the path. Take a bottle of water with you, it's... More

As part of our NCL cruise we stopped at Great Stirrup Cay. We rented a Cabana and were pleased to see it was stocked with water and fruit. We had a private waiter bringing us drinks. The beach was clean and the water a warm bright clear blue. This was our first time there but we are already looking to... More

As part of our cruise on the Norwegian Breakaway was a stop to this private island. We set anchor in the morning and then waited in seemingly endless lines to board the tenders that deposited us ashore on this very pretty island. The wait was exceptionally long because the conditions were shaky, with high waves and weather that forced the... More

We went in December shortly after Huricane Sandy and it had taken a tole but the island was still gorgeous. My husband had a great time playing a pickup game of volleyball on the beach. The lunch was nice and they water was warm. Most of the people stay on the main beach so if you walk a little ways... More
