It is a great spot to learn about marine life in the St. Lawrence. It isn't Chicago or Boston aquarium but you are far from paying those price. I though that the quality for the price was good. There is touch pool where you get to tough hermit crabs, sea stars, sea cucumbers, urchins and others. The kids really enjoyed... More

It is very interesting to learn about the marine life in the St Lawrence. You are invited to hold some of the marine creatures. We had seafood soup for lunch which was top notch! Wonderful experience even for adults!!

We spent 1.5 hours touring the museum/aquarium, and that was more than sufficient. The best part is the Tactile exhibit, where the kids (and adults) get to hold sea creatures. My kids really enjoyed that part. My only complaint with it is that despite my kids only speaking english and the group being small, the guide would give long explanations... More

The boat ride, and lifting cages of crabs and shellfish. Very nice guide and very instructive afternoon.

It was a rainy day so it was a perfect indoor activity for our 5yr old daughter. She loved the hands on demo...touching and holding starfish, sea urchin, sea cucumber etc.

Although we have no children, we always like to go to an aquarium, and this time we were not disappointed. Upstairs there is firstly a part with screens with underwater life. You can sit down and just watch, very nice. The other part is a fascinating interactive exhibition on the various senses, and how they work for fishes/whales. It is... More

We liked this attraction. We took part in the "hands on" holding of sea life. Definitely do this if you can. It will make the visit worth while.

Exploramer was highly recommended by friends. It is a sealife museum and discovery centre. The information panels are bilingual - English, French. Normally, the two floors of exhibits would take between 1-2 hours, we stayed all day! Yes, the lower floor alone with its many aquarium tanks, is a fascinating study on sea life. You can get up close and... More
