stepped into gift shop

Just went into the very nice boutique/gift shop. Good selection, nearly surprising for the otherwise rather quiet harbour

The kids liked it but they also really wanted to go fishing and that was unavailable. Enjoyed the fourchette bleue program that they have a tasted seal for the first time! actually very yummy!

This is a truly amazing facility, featuring a dozen tanks with raven fish (a favourite), wolffish, cod, zooplankton, blue lobster, crabs, whelks, starfish. Fascinating to discover what life looks like under the estuary and gulf. Has a cafe, a great play area outside. Reserve the boat ride if you can and weather is good. Great fish restaurant adjacent. Ste Anne... More

We were passing through, weather was substandard, so decided to stop in. Not a bad facility given the remote location. Price is a bit high for what you get given that you can easily go through in about an hour (even with kids in tow). Staff are super friendly. Had one give us overtime in the touching pools given that... More

Not a bad little place if you have a couple of hours spare or children to entertain. More of an educational experience than entertainment and a good launch point for a spot of whale watching. The upstairs static displays are informative, with good use of technology to ram home the message that we need to improve our Eco habits. The... More

Good local place. Good for families to learn about the beautiful St Lawrence River. If I were traveling with children I would check on what programs they were offering and when. I would certainly schedule a stop for a program. And to let the kids stretch their legs. It is not a big-city aquarium but it does offer a lot... More

I had expected more of this attraction. It was small, an only so and so in terms of content. For children, great that they can look and feel

It is a great spot to learn about marine life in the St. Lawrence. It isn't Chicago or Boston aquarium but you are far from paying those price. I though that the quality for the price was good. There is touch pool where you get to tough hermit crabs, sea stars, sea cucumbers, urchins and others. The kids really enjoyed... More

It is very interesting to learn about the marine life in the St Lawrence. You are invited to hold some of the marine creatures. We had seafood soup for lunch which was top notch! Wonderful experience even for adults!!

We spent 1.5 hours touring the museum/aquarium, and that was more than sufficient. The best part is the Tactile exhibit, where the kids (and adults) get to hold sea creatures. My kids really enjoyed that part. My only complaint with it is that despite my kids only speaking english and the group being small, the guide would give long explanations... More
