This was such a beautiful place. Well worth the drive into Sainte Anne de Beaupre. The church is stunning both inside and out. The details and workmanship are breathtaking. Such a peaceful and soul pleasing way to spend a few hours. Highly recommend anyone with a love of churches and superb architecture to visit this place. Small fee to park... More

We stopped here on our way to the Canyon. There is free parking on the side of the church, and it is free to enter too. It is beautiful inside and there are other areas to explore around the church.

As the first part of my review I have to say try to take your own car to this church! I know you may have to pay to park and what not but the bus trips are usually rushed. By taking our own car we were able to walk around the area and explore the church for as long as... More

My wife really wanted to go with the kids. I went and well, it's a church ... Yes it nice, and yes if you like that type of thing good. However do not expect this to be a place to spend more that 1 hours unless you are going to stay for a service.

We went to Mass, which was in french and english. The dual languages made things last a long time, but still worth it. The church itself is obviously beautiful, and the stories about it are nice. We went across the street to a restaurant which is part of the complex - very nice, but like going back in time to... More

Here's something our (Catholic American) family never expected to find in our wanderings east of old Quebec in search of Canadian water adventure: an authentic site of religious miracles, with a cathedral to match. To say this is the #1 thing to do in the small village of Ste.-Anne-de-Beaupre is misstating the situation. There is literally nothing anyone that visitors... More

My husband and I went for Sunday mass on our one year anniversary and it was such a beautiful church for us to celebrate this special occasion. It was definitely worth the 30 min drive from quebec city and we were lucky enough to find street parking right next to the church. The mass was in the chapel in the... More

This is one of the stops on the countryside tour that we took. It is UNBELIEVABLE! We walked around in awe. The building just rises out of the flat land as you are driving towards it. Unfortunately I wish we had more time to spend here. We had to view it quickly because we needed to get back on the... More

This building is truly magnificent despite it not being very old. What it lacks in age, it makes up for in detail and sheer size. It is situated on the roadside in a downtown area. The details in the stone work, and inside in the decoration and mosaics is so unusual in a building less than 100 years old. There... More

Having seen some majestic and historic buildings in my lifetime, I think this one would be in the top 10. It is located off the downtown area, but definitely worth the visit. It was in fact a stones throw from where we stayed and it's a photographers paradise. Looks like it's been recently renovated and the place is FREE and... More
