This is the first spot everyone must visit in Quebec City, beautiful church and tourist spot. There is also a museum near the parking lot, which has lot of replicas of ancient history. Good place to visit. Lot of parking, Mc Donalds Tim Hortons and Subway are near by.

Returned after 30 years, and it is even more impressive now. The artistry and architecture is amazing. Details are everywhere, from the copper entrance doors to the animal figures carved on each row of seats. The walls and rooms of discarded crutches have been replaced with a single column reminder, but otherwise I did not notice much change - still... More

My four friends and I quickly stopped at Sainte Anne's on the way back to the States from Quebec City. How I wish we had longer to view this beautiful basilica. We could have spent a whole afternoon looking at all the gorgeous artwork. The copper doors inside the narthex really captured our attention. We were fortunate to walk into... More

I've been here twice in my life and I have always been amazed at the simplistic beauty of the upper basilica.

Beautiful architecture, each chapel for the saints are all works of art. If weather permits, visit during low season so there's no lines, and you can park right in front of the Basilica. If the location was a little elevated, this structure would look more magnificent.

Short drive from Quebec City, and absolutely worth it! We were there a rainy day that had very few other visitors, so it was lovely to have it to ourselves.

We were a group of 40 Elementary School students, along with 6 teachers and parent chaperones, from Sarnia, ON: Our visit to Saint Anne de Beaupre Basilica was unforgettable and an experience I highly recommend to young and old, alike! The main Sanctuary was breathtaking with all of its intricate sculptures and hand-carved architectural features, not to mention the stunning... More

We stopped here after skiing and before heading back to Quebec City. As we only had 20 minutes before Mass started, it was a very quick visit. We initially went to the museum and saw a chair and kneeler that Saint Pope John Paul II had used. Entering the basilica, we went downstairs and I thought it was quite lovely.... More
