After the first few mooses it becomes normal. The wolves are the best attraction, ensure you take sausage with you to throw, they will follow you like a hord.

I have been to Parc Omega with my kids, my grandkids and lots of visitors from out of country....and everyone has loved it. It is such a unique experience....don't forget to buy lots of carrots at the visitors center as all the animals have raised expectations - and they will get quite pushy looking for their treats! Open your car... More

Many sort of deer, bison, wolves, coyotes, fox, wild turkey, ducks. Drive around with your car and get up close and personal (with the more friendly animals :-)) The deer will eat out of your hands! 20$ per adult for the day. Bring your Camera!

I visited Parc Omega as part of a tour of eastern Canada. As a group we had guide/driver and an open sided bus provided, plus food for some of the inhabitants. Most of the animals roam free and approach vehicles without hesitation, looking for a feed. There are some great photo ops with this happening. There were quite a few... More

We went to Parc Omega with no expectations other than thoughts of animals crawling all over our new car and we were somewhat apprehensive about it. No such thing happened at all. You can drive through or follow walking trails that are short or long. We followed the trail around Trout Lake and then tackled a much longer trail, Fox... More

I travelled to Parc Omega in September this year and was a bit disappointed. You travel in this school bus with bags of carrots to entice the animals to come to you and feed. Whilst it might be fun to feed carrots to deer and elk, pigs and goats which are free to roam as they follow the bus around... More

First of all, we are from Ontario and have a wonderful park called Algonquin Park. I can't begin to tell you how many times I have driven through Algonquin Park and never see a single creature except perhaps a squirrel. Omega Park was totally different. By means of a series of trails and smell routes reaching into the wilderness, a... More

Not far from Portobello and highway 50 is this huge reserve where you drive through and the deer come to be fed with carrots. You can also walk about 3 areas. There are bears wolves foxes and coyote in enclosures and plenty of deer bison and moose and wild boar. The shop and café and Park House are good. It's... More

Have lived in Ottawa a long time and did not get to see this treasure until now. Well worth every penny and would suggest that you bring apples to feed the animals along with the usual carrots. Great way to see the automn colors - really nice backdrop to the animals. I plan on making this an annual event now.
