Decided to stop after reading the other reviews. Very small shop filled with great cheeses and an owner who is very passionate about her products. Learned a few things I didn't know, and was quickly offered samples of her new and favorite cheeses. I dare you to leave without buying something! The curds are a must if you are lucky... More

The woman behind the counter really knew her product and was quite friendly about what we could try and gave us many suggestions. The jams and jellies were amazing and the combinations with cheese were delicious. We did expect it would be larger as we were led to believe by others indicating it was a 'factory' for cheese however it... More

PROS: Home-grown cheese; also sell bread, pate, and other treats, friendly staff and happy to let you sample CONS: Not a giant selection, not cheap (but it shouldn't be!) Yes "it's just a cheese shop" as someone else has mentioned in their (foolish) review. But the clue's in the name ("cheese shop Montebello), and with that in mind you know... More

Delicious sampling of cheeses, interesting information on cheese aging, very friendly staff! Small storefront offering local cheeses, quiches to take, and mini ice creams.

We recently visiting this Fromagerie and I was a bit disappointed....I expected a large selection of different local cheeses and while they did sell only local produce, the selection was rather limited. However, the staff were great and provided us with tastings and explanations of their four local cheeses. Several in our group did purchase cheese but I did not... More

Great products, the best cheeses ever. But the knowledge of the staff make this a must see when in Montebello. Crackers, plates, cutlery are available if you ask, and you are set for an amazing picnic!

Since this place was listed as one of the top Montebello "attractions", I suppose I expected a bit more than a small cheese shop. That's what it is...no tours, nothing special, nothing of particular interest, mostly just delicious cheese and some baked goods made on the premises. We were given samples to taste and the cheese was delicious. Naturally, we... More
