Please don't miss this sweet little shop during a visit to Montebello (they're on the main road, in and out of town). The 20 minutes we spent here sampling their excellent cheese and chatting with the friendly staff were a favourite part of our trip. I served a round of their "Doray", a soft, flavourful cheese wrapped in a strip... More

We read about this shop in the Chateau information and walked in to the village from the Chateau. The staff were super friendly, encouraging us to taste. Excellent cheeses.

As good as in Europe. Blue cheese is good. Dark chocolate and maple nuts excellent. Friendly people.

Wonderful cheese boutique! Offers a number of home made cheeses, curds, local jams, jelly, meats, homemade bakery items, & take out sandwiches. Over the course of a weekend we visited 3 times. Artfully presented and delicious to eat this mini boutique was brimming with clients each time we visited. Our most favorite was a sun dried tomato bun with local... More

Fine cheese, very friendly poeple. They also have great freshly baked breads. We got a baguette and cheese that we enjoyed later that day for as part of a light lunch. A must if your visiting Montebello.

A quaint storefront where the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The staff provided a tasting and information about the cheeses, also a number of Quebec made products, many from L'isle D'Orleans. A very nice attraction/store.

Wow great cheese made on site. Voted québéc's best blue cheese. Also got nice smoked applewood cheddar and some mild soft cheese plus some local jam and fresh bread made there too for awesome picnic. Smoked salmon and cream cheese from the grocery store nearby

We were going for a drive along highway 148, a nice rural drive from Ottawa to Montreal. We saw this Fromagarie as we drove by. The shop is small and clean and was busy when we came in. However, we were attended to quickly and offered samples of their 3 excellent cheeses. They were all different but wonderful. The fellow... More

Decided to stop after reading the other reviews. Very small shop filled with great cheeses and an owner who is very passionate about her products. Learned a few things I didn't know, and was quickly offered samples of her new and favorite cheeses. I dare you to leave without buying something! The curds are a must if you are lucky... More
