We were delighted to get tickets to Follow The Fiddler - a narrated walking tour of Victoria. This was an 'outdoor' play - we followed The Narrator, Erskine Smith, and The Fiddler through town and actors came out from behind a building; etc. and acted out a scene; told tales; sang songs. And as we walked away from each scene our narrator said; and now we'll follow the fiddler and as we walked strolled the streets lovely Cynthia MacLeod entertained us with Celtic fiddle tunes. Have never done anything quite like this. It was delightfully entertaining and one of the highlights our our Prince Edward Island trip. Perfect for all ages too! « less

They always have a show on in this little theatre. It makes for a nice quaint evening out. Add supper or tea in a small cafe to complete the evening. I enjoyed the show this year immensely.

The charming, 154 seat, Playhouse provides an intimate theatre experience. The staff and Director are genuinely welcoming and the theatre itself is an antique gem. The selection of plays is well suited for a summer experience and the productions and cast provide great entertainment.

Really enjoyed Trudeau Stories, written and performed by Brook Johnson. It was a gentle tale about a young woman and a much older man who simply enjoyed one another's company. The fact that the latter was a famous politician didn't matter. I ordered our tickets on-line and when we got there to pick them up , I got a kick... More

We went to see "On Golden Pond" at Victoria playhouse recently and it was a most enjoyable evening. The playhouse itself is as someone else said a "cute quaint little playhouse with alot of character". There are no bad seats in the playhouse, you are close enough to see all the stage from every angle. The set design was fantastic,... More

Follow The Fiddler was a great walking tour with narrator & fiddler. Various stops with actors describe the history, chronology of events & local expereinces in the community over the years. Victoria is a well protected gem that through this performance enables one to learn more about it's citizens, it's businesses, transportation , religious influences & health issues in early... More
