Local theatre playhouse in the Village of Victoria by the Sea. Shows run all summer long - check out their website for listings. Very reasonable pricing. We were delighted to get tickets to Follow The Fiddler - a narrated walking tour of Victoria. This was an 'outdoor' play - we followed The Narrator, Erskine Smith, and The Fiddler through town and actors came out from behind a building; etc. and acted out a scene; told tales; sang songs. And as we walked away from each scene our narrator said; and now we'll follow the fiddler and as we walked strolled the streets lovely Cynthia MacLeod entertained us with Celtic fiddle tunes. Have never done anything quite like this. It was delightfully entertaining and one of the highlights our our Prince Edward Island trip. Perfect for all ages too!

Charming tiny theatre with amiable personnel and an enthusiastically performed show. As an "outsider" I didn't "get" the humor - and the production was marred by acoustic issues. But the energy was there and I'm not sorry to have caught a bit of island fun - all part of the adventure.

We saw "Kiss the Moon, Kiss the Sun" and thoroughly enjoyed it. The story was heartwarming and funny. The acting of the main characters was first rate. Stage setting was very minimal and my only disappointment. The playhouse was packed so I am glad I got our tickets early that afternoon. There is parking along the street and, worst case,... More

Very nice to get back to the roots of theatre with a good story, great writing, excellent acting and a quaint setting. We saw Kiss the Moon, Kiss the Sun and thought it was delightful. No gimmicks, fancy sets or over the top production. Just heartfelt, believable performances that are entertaining and thought provoking. Well done!

Four of us attended a performance of Norm Foster's "Kiss the Moon, Kiss the Sun" last evening and it was wonderful. Jeremie Saunders did an outstanding job of playing Robert and Rebecca Griffin was delightful as Holly. We come to this theatre every summer because every seat in the house has good visibility and the plays are always well done.... More

We attended the Victoria playhouse production of Kiss the Moon Kiss the Sun this evening. This was the first time attending the Victoria Playhouse and what a beautiful introduction to this theater. This has to be one of the best plays we have seen at a little theater!!! Jeremie Saunders plays the part of Robert a developmentally challenged man and... More

One of the best, if not THE best performance we've ever seen at the Victoria Playhouse. Norm Foster's Kiss the Sun is superbly acted and directed, and a perfect fit for the historic Victoria Playhouse. We enjoyed the performance so much, we will return with visitors later this summer.

The vaudeville show 'Top Hats and Tales' was playing at the time and was very enjoyable. The actors were experienced professionals and have perfected their performance over a number of years and numerous venues. The Playhouse itself is well constructed with comfortable seats and has a true traditional feel.
