We were delighted to get tickets to Follow The Fiddler - a narrated walking tour of Victoria. This was an 'outdoor' play - we followed The Narrator, Erskine Smith, and The Fiddler through town and actors came out from behind a building; etc. and acted out a scene; told tales; sang songs. And as we walked away from each scene our narrator said; and now we'll follow the fiddler and as we walked strolled the streets lovely Cynthia MacLeod entertained us with Celtic fiddle tunes. Have never done anything quite like this. It was delightfully entertaining and one of the highlights our our Prince Edward Island trip. Perfect for all ages too! « less

Four of us attended a performance of Norm Foster's "Kiss the Moon, Kiss the Sun" last evening and it was wonderful. Jeremie Saunders did an outstanding job of playing Robert and Rebecca Griffin was delightful as Holly. We come to this theatre every summer because every seat in the house has good visibility and the plays are always well done.... More

We attended the Victoria playhouse production of Kiss the Moon Kiss the Sun this evening. This was the first time attending the Victoria Playhouse and what a beautiful introduction to this theater. This has to be one of the best plays we have seen at a little theater!!! Jeremie Saunders plays the part of Robert a developmentally challenged man and... More

One of the best, if not THE best performance we've ever seen at the Victoria Playhouse. Norm Foster's Kiss the Sun is superbly acted and directed, and a perfect fit for the historic Victoria Playhouse. We enjoyed the performance so much, we will return with visitors later this summer.

The vaudeville show 'Top Hats and Tales' was playing at the time and was very enjoyable. The actors were experienced professionals and have perfected their performance over a number of years and numerous venues. The Playhouse itself is well constructed with comfortable seats and has a true traditional feel.

We took advantage of a theater package offered by the Orient Hotel B&B that included tickets to this charming theater. The Show "Top Hats & Tales" was very enjoyable. The entertainers are accomplished in their fields and were able to easily engage the audience. The venue is a beautiful playhouse that is worth a visit.

This year we arrived, as usual , in good time so that we could stroll around this delightful village by the sea. The theatre accomodates those who cannot climb the front entrance steps. There is a side door they are pleased to open for you. The play itself was well done : the acting, set, costumes, lighting. When we have... More

This is the second summer we have attended a play at this lovely little playhouse. Both plays we saw were charming and very enjoyable. There isn't a bad seat in the house! We are now making it a family tradition to attend at least one play here each summer.

A full house gave this play a great atmosphere. The theater is comfortable. The stage can be seen well from every seat, and the actors voices carry extremely well. Unfortunately the play has finished for the season.

The theatre is just lovely. Not a bad seat in the house; ticket prices very reasonable. The play was reasonably well done though the show itself not high theatre. But we truly enjoyed the evening. We purchased a package through the Orient Hotel. Not too many places where you can stay in a nice room have a good dinner and... More

The above is the title of the current play at Victoria Playhouse in Victoria-by-the-sea, Prince Edward Island. The village of Victoria is tiny, but truly beautiful, picturesque, and utterly charming, with many small older houses amidst abundant vegetation on its quiet streets, with lots of tourists out for a stroll by the sea. The playhouse itself is an ideal venue... More
