The area still remains in operations of its generation to generation of past down fishing tradition, old original Shanty's, lobster boats with use of traditional wooden traps, right next to the best know beaches of PEI - Cavendish! Also go Blue Fin Tuna fishing or seafood all you can eat, or try a home cooked meal or bring a cooler... More

This is a picturesque beach which is less busy than the beaches around Cavendish. It also abuts on a picturesque fishing village. Definitely, a beach to enjoy.

We loved this beach, which was not busy at all. We saw lots of crabs, a small lobster, tons of shells to admire and collect. Shallow quite far out, and mild surf...

Visited the end of July. We parked our car, in a parking lot, past the boat tour/other buildings. I stayed near the Harbour area, while my husband, daughter and her friend walked to the beach. They had a lovely walk along the beach, and loved it as the waves were crashing in, and they enjoyed the breeze coming off the... More

This is a great family beach. The water gradually deepens so the toddlers can play near the waters edge. There is a guarded area and the beach is very deep. Souvenir shopping is close by as well are washrooms. I dont recommend a walk on the breakwater as it is quite a challenge even for adults. The beach is long... More

On the day we booked a fishing a trip from Joey's, we stopped at this gem of beach. Powdery golden sands greeted us, accessing a beach with lots of room to play. There was a buoyed off area that was deep enough to swim in if you went out far enough, and a shallow sand bar that was an excellent... More

Best drive in PEI, infact the other drives have nothing to see. I wasted a full day at the east point drive.

Apparently this is where the locals like to go. We were directed by one of the locals or we may have not even known it was there. Part of it is in the National Park and is supervised but if you enter a little further down, you can park and walk. It is very beautiful and sandy. It was better... More

This beach took us a couple of attempts to find as there is inadequate signage, but it turned out we were literally a stone's throw from the little street that would get us there. Low crowds, beautiful sand, a lifeguarded area, dogs are welcome on the rest of the beach, nothing but sand underfoot inside the water--you name it. There... More

We actually came across this one by accident and loved it. You could park close to the beach and it wasn't crowded at all and on a beautiful day. The beach area was perfect and so was the sand. You also had a great view of the water and could watch the boats. Loved it and will certainly go back.
