This was so cute. It's a little village built like Anne of Green Gables. There are little skits, and stories going on throughout the village. We were at the country store and two customers came running in and yelling at each other, acting out stories. It was entertaining and unexpected. There are things for kids to do, color, crafts, etc.... More

Have gone at least once a year since we've had children. The kids LOVE it! The skits, and characters interacting with you. Entertainment is always phenomenal. And if nothing else the kids will love the animals! Horse drawn wagan rides, pony rides, pig races in years past and many more. Plus the cafe on location is well priced and good... More

Went with my wife who of course is a huge Ann fan. Needless to say this would not be an attraction I'd visit on my own accord. I decided to make the best of it, however, and had a not half bad time. The village itself is pretty cool and the actors are mostly funny. For young girls and women... More

Entertainment building was great for kids but not much going on kind of boring for me but the kids had a great time. More

My 8 year old loved wandering around the village. It's small, but she liked revisiting different places. Very relaxed pace. Wandering performers that interact with guests are great, and they perform vignettes from Anne of Green Gables every hour in a different location. Spend the whole day and you get a good chunk of the story. More

It was good if you have smaller children . My girls were 13 and it was on the border line. It has good family fun. Should be willing to spend half the day there to get your moneys worth. You can get your pictures taken dressed up free. More

Really enjoyed just about everything about Avonlea Village. The little shops and especially the ice cream parlour were great. I highly recommend heading to the shanty for the musical performance - that was the highlight of the afternoon for me. The old church is also very charming with an interesting history. More
