My 8 year old loved wandering around the village. It's small, but she liked revisiting different places. Very relaxed pace. Wandering performers that interact with guests are great, and they perform vignettes from Anne of Green Gables every hour in a different location. Spend the whole day and you get a good chunk of the story. More

It was good if you have smaller children . My girls were 13 and it was on the border line. It has good family fun. Should be willing to spend half the day there to get your moneys worth. You can get your pictures taken dressed up free. More

Really enjoyed just about everything about Avonlea Village. The little shops and especially the ice cream parlour were great. I highly recommend heading to the shanty for the musical performance - that was the highlight of the afternoon for me. The old church is also very charming with an interesting history. More

Come back in time with real life actor's it is so real you stroll through the villiage that is set back in the 1800 a must to see. More
