We loved it, we went in June, we had the place to ourselves, we loved the haunted woods walk, it's very well done, extra trip to the original farm is worth the walk (even in the rain)

Like many attractions that are run by the government or a similar national parks organization this house and it's surroundings are very true to period and the historical significance of the place. So if you are a fan of Anne of Green Gables it is worth making the effort to come and see the farm house that lent its name... More

No self respecting Anne fan could visit PEI and not make it to Green Gables. Whilst we all know Anne was fictional, you could certainly use your imagination to place her in that house with the nearby Lovers Lane and Haunted Wood. You can even buy a raspberry cordial in the shop!

We have visited Green Cables many times, but we still make sure we go back. It is a wonderful trip back in time, to when Lucy Maud Montgomery wrote about Anne to see the house and the enchanted woods of a child's imagination.

Very much enjoyed visiting the home of Lucy Maud Montgomery, author of "Anne of Green Gables". Although Anne was a fictional character, you could certainly picture things described in the stories. The farm was beautiful, and the house obviously is a place people really lived. A very pleasant visit!

Cafe food is fine, but a little over-priced. Exteriors and property are JUST like you might expect if you know Kevin Sullivan's AoGG movies.

Would highly suggest visiting if your am fan of the movies. Just refrain from buying into a lot of the big ticket items such as the DVDs. They were trill the regular price. Other then that it was an awesome visit

I went along for the trip to Green Gables as company for my wife. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful surrounds, the tracks, the information and the presentation by the staff on hand. A must for any reader and an interesting visit for non-readers. Depicts the period well. The let-down is while trying to imagine life in the times,... More

Nicely kept park with informative description of LM Montgomery's life. The trails are nice to walk as well. If you are in PEI and in the Cavendish area, you should go. It's also good to find out about what life was like for the inhabitants of the area back in the day.

Our family was a little disappointed in our recent visit to Green Gables. We found the brief movie about the author to be somewhat informative. We enjoyed seeing the replica house and taking photos in front of it. However, it only took a few minutes to walk through the house. The house did not contain anything unique to the author.... More
