My friends and I visited Green Gables in the Summer. Plan to spend at least 2-3 hours, especially if you plan to walk over all the grounds at a leisurely pace. Not only can you see the home, but you can take a walk in the haunted woods that will take you to a small gift shop with some stops... More

My wife loved it. The rest of us did enjoy the authentic history of the site and could feel the time and environment that was described in the books.

We spent a couple of hours here (most of us had been before), and once again, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone who grew up reading Ann of Green Gables definitely should visit.

My friend and I took our daughters here to see the Anne of Green Gables house and walk the grounds. Everything looked as it did in the tv series and described in the book. There was a very authentic "Anne" walking around that our daughters loved. Glad we got to see it. Take your time on the property and go... More

Enjoyed the visit here tho not expecting a lot! The detail presented and the fun things like the haunted woods made it a great stopping point. The information on the author's life too was well presented. Not sure if it warrants another stop but definitely should be seen once!

We arrived in PEI 2 days after the first SNOWFALL for the season. The Island was stunning and so was the Green Gables house, but that's all we got to see because it was closed for the season. I had read reviews from 2 weeks ago and assumed it was all still opened. A bit disappointing coming all the way... More

We walked through the house and while I enjoyed that, the outdoor areas were definitely the highlight. We took a walk down Lover's Lane and then walked the trail through the Haunted Woods. When you first enter the visitor's center there is some memorabilia from the author and a video about her life. We enjoyed both before heading to the... More

I am not a fan per say of Anne of Green Gables (i have never read the books) but i sure know of the character and books. My girlfriend was a but reader of the novels and so i was happy to be along with her to revisit some of the writers enchanting settings. It was fairly reasonable to get... More

Warm, friendly people greet you and make you feel at home while visiting Green Gables House. Enjoyed fresh lobster lunch at the PrinceEdward Island Preserve Company.

This is the home that inspired L.M Montgomery’s children’s novel, “Anne of Green Gables”. Millions of fans have visited PEI specifically to see where it all began. The grounds are exquisite. I never read the book;nor did I see the movie until this trip. So this was only mildly interesting to me. Others more familiar were more interested.
