I'm being generous with the average, but to say poor seems too harsh. This could be so much more, but it fails to evolve... It is disappointing to know how many people come to this place wanting an adventure on Green Gables and they just get a museum type feel. So many families that bring their children for an experience... More

As always very magical place, subject of great imagination. Strolling in the woods, Lovers Lane popular, winding within golf course, lovely composition of the flowers.

An extremely well preserved and maintained house and out buildings help bring to life the story of Anne of Green Gables, which came from the imagination of author Lucy Maude Montgomery. Interesting for children and adults alike.

My 13 year old daughter picked this place to visit and everyone in the family enjoyed it, including my 13 year old son. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The house is a great replica/rendition and it was great to see artifacts from Anne's time. My kids got a kick out of the wash basins in the bedrooms as... More

This was a very nicely set up home to mimic Green Gables. Some parts did not seem true to the books. Very crowded in the house. The movie was nice prior to seeing the home.

I was excited to see the setting that influenced LM Montgomery's books as I had read them as a child. I am glad to see that the area is part of a National Park and therefore protected. The introductory film is short but a good source of information for those who are not familiar with the author or the books.... More

My 8 and 10 year olds enjoyed visiting Green Gables after having read Anne of Green Gables as a family earlier this year. We enjoyed all of the details that were put into the house. The ice cream shop was terrific and the nature hike was peaceful.

I had visited this attraction as a child and a very young adult, so was excited to go again and bring my own children this time. Unfortunately, it was jam-packed with slow-moving tourists armed with selfie-sticks, and the rooms were not as clearly labelled as I remember. The staff were courteous and knowledgeable. If you are able to catch one... More

A must see for any fan of the Anne of Green Gables series. Watch the movie when you enter, rather than bypassing it, and learn a little bit about LM Montgomery and the Island she grew up on. The park is well laid out, with lots of signs and directions to the walks, buildings, exit and entrance. We had a... More
