We did visit this shop, and it is as interesting and eclectic a shop as I can recall visiting. It is not however in Charlottetown - it is most of the way across the island (a 15-20 minute drive from Charlottetown). By all means visit however - this might be the best shopping on the island.

One of our best dining experiences on our trip thru the Maritime Provinces. Great food. Good wine list. Terrific service. Very nice atmosphere. Relatively quiet even when crowded. More pricey that we are used to, but worth the extra. Nice Gallery attached.

My wife and I dropped in to look for a replacement pottery piece for one that had been broken , It has been a number of years since we purchased the original piece . When we entered the store we were cheerfully greeted and were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the expansive selection of quality products from the Island and... More

We were driving to Dalvay by the Sea to check-in for our stay and happened to pop by The Dunes since we were hungry. What a happy discovery. We had no idea what we were about to experience! First, the gardens are so beautiful! As an art lover and collector, I fell in love with the Dunes immediately. Now, the... More

Fantastic gallery - art, jewelry, furniture, gardens. Restaurant was lovely - nice menu. The best part of the experience was the ambiance - surrounded by art. Great service also.

We spent almost an hour poking around the dunes. It has a really eclectic and unique blend of items, most of which are from pei or Canadian artisans. They have lovely gardens which are worth a stroll along with a cafe

Overall, the best non-seafood meal I had in PEI. Great service, too. One gripe: we communicated that we can't have carrots (mild allergy), and the server communicated this to the chef, but the chef failed to omit carrots from the dish.

This was a good place to stop in for lunch on a cold, rainy August day. Is there ever sunshine in PEI? Unsure of what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised by the menu. One of us had the Clam Chowder and she loved the variety of seafood and that this was the perfect meal for this day. The portion... More

We had a lovely lunch at the Dunes, very tasty and reasonably priced with friendly service. The art gallery showed work of a professional standard both in painting and pottery and my son bought me a very nice piece to take home to New Zealand. We all enjoyed the whole place and I would have bought a lot more if... More
