I look forward to a trip up to the cranberry marsh in October, the nearby city of Bala holds it's cranberry festival the weekend after Thanksgiving. They have wine tasting, a tour around the bog, some vendors set up, and a gift shop. I love their cranberry candles, they burn just like they smell.

My husband and I really enjoyed the bog to bottle tour and wine tasting at this beautiful family owned and run Cranberry marsh. We were surprised to find out that they also grow blueberries as we'll! We really enjoyed sampling all of the different wines, dessert wines and spritzers as we'll! Would highly recommend!

This is a place that has clearly stayed true to their roots, family-owned since its founding and still growing. The 1pm 'Bog to Bottle' tour and tasting was $10 for an interesting look at both the cranberry growing and wine-making areas. though it was a little short ultimately. The wine itself though was just fantastic, and we barely made it... More

We weren't entirely sure that a cranberry bog tour was going to be too exciting, but it was great! A really nice place and tour. The tasting is fun (though sweeter than a lot of wines... I think the wild blueberry wine is like a blueberry Chardonnay) and there are a lot of fun things (cranberry related of course) in... More

They're open every day, year round. Well worth going for the daily tour at 1pm - recently named a "Signature Canadian Experience" by the Canadian tourism commission. The wine was excellent! A local cheese and cracker plate is also available.

We went here when they were doing cranberry harvesting - early October. It was a week or so before Canadian Thanksgiving. It was fun to see how the cranberries were harvested. In addition, nice store, and harvesting area to visit. We did their cranberry wine tasting as well under their outdoor tent (it was raining just a little while we... More

Was pleasantly surprised. Took a helicopter ride and a tractor tour. Loved the candy coated cranberries.

We are from Newmarket and had guests from South Dakota and California last week. We took a trip north to see the beautiful colors and take a ride on the Island Queen. We saw signs on the highway on Johnston's Marsh and we all decided to stop by on the way back. We are glad we did! It was fabulous!... More

Interesting, educational and delicious. Sample two wines for free, or pay for a complete wine-tasting experience. If you can, time your visit to include the free tour.
