Rotary park is located just off lake driveway on the shore of Lake Ontario. It serves several purposes for locals. It can be a destination for a picnic, a day at the playground or splash pad, fishing, or a boat launch. Or it can be a jumping off point for trails that take you throughout Ajax, a town which consistently... More

During spring, the gnats are a major nuisance. The walk west from the pavilion over to Montgomery Park Road is a pleasant walk in the woods.

Rotary Park is located at the mouth of Duffins Creek. It's a wonderful place to bring the kids and family. It is wheelchair accessible has paved parking and paved walking trails along with the park with slides etc. for the kids to enjoy. There are hiking trails around the marsh that is situated there. Its a nice quiet park with a view of lake Ontario. There is a childrens playground and splash pad on the west side of the park and a tarmac bike/walking along the length of the park. Other than that, there is not much more to it and its in a residential area there are no shops, bars, patios or cafes... More

Green space, clear lake view, walking path, biking or riding options. We kept open space in Ajax,. There is a reason Ajax is called city by the lake...this is the reason. Definitely a must see in Ajax!

Always a great place for events and everyday fun. From the park and the restaurant to the expansive fields and picnic areas, this park is excellent. Next to a wonderful suburban neighbourhood, Rotary Park is in a prime location. With a newly updated waterpark, two recreational structures, and loads of space for dining outside, you could easily spend a whole... More

Hardly any parking but lots of green space for picnics and bbq's. Large kids zones (1 dry playground and 1 splash pad). Right on the beaches of Lake Ontario. There is a snack bar and bathrooms here as well.

Sometimes it is hard to believe that all this natural beauty actually exists in a Urban area. Experience it for yourselves as you walk, jog or bike ridealong the board walk which stretches along the long stretch of shore line. Stop and observe the wild life of; ducks, swans, butterflies, cardinals and many other types of birds. There is something... More
