Stopped here to stretch my legs. It was a great place to stop into to pick up some fresh produce along the way for the car ride.

We stopped here going and coming from Cape Breton. First time for local strawberries and second time for local jams. Very clean restrooms too!

Our friend, a local, recommended we stop here en route to Cape Breton from Parrsboro, and we enjoyed it so much, we stopped in again a week later en route from Halifax to NB. Not only do they offer hot lunches and tasty treats, they have a wide range of products... wild blueberry jams, cute garden items, nice quality clothing,... More

We stopped the first time in the morning around 8:30 and it was amazing, but not crowded yet.... On our was home three days later we were their at 1: 30, well it was jam packed with cars and buses. Stood online eating to order our lunch and surprisingly with all the people it clears out fast. These people really... More

Went with friends, have always heard of this place, so thought I would go along as they offered to take me. I don't know if it was because it was a holiday or if the place is always packed, but packed it was and hot!. Although the crowd was very polite it was nudge, nudge and more nudge to get... More

These sandwiches, located in the cooler, you are referring to are fresh made daily for those requiring a take-out meal. They are placed directly in the coolers after preparation. The milk is refrigerated at all times, as well. We will certainly look into additional signage. Thank you for your visit and taking the time to write a review. More

Had to stop for my mum for their GF fish and chips to takeaway to Moncton. Super crunchy good price to portion. It holds up well for travel. They hav 2 dedicated fryers for fish,2 for chips and 1 for shrimp, rings&clams(gluten). The lobster pot salad was good as well but wished for a little more lobster of course. The kids... More

Were taken here by wife's brother and partner who live in Nova Scotia. It's cafeteria style so it is very informal. Sandwiches are delicious: bread is fresh and you can choose from several types. And then you basically customize your sandwich from a selection of meats and toppings. Salads look delicious, but I had a celery/apple soup which was different... More

My friend from Halifax told met that this is THE place to stop for a meal while driving through Nova Scotia, and she was exactly right. It is a produce market that serves ice cream, prepared foods and there is a gift shop and nursery. We stop here on each road trip and have never been disappointed. I get the... More
