The market has gifts, groceries and an extensive cafe. Attached is a wonderful fish stand. Certainly worth a stop for a break enroute to Halifax.

We stopped by for lunch and had the chili. It was good but really tame for my liking. I had to add a tablespoon of chili flakes to get a proper bite! The market has become quite a popular spot to stop, stretch and browse so it's always bustling with people. The owners are very nice people too.

Love the boat that has been turned into a Fish and Chip stand!! The best I have ever had!! Lots of food and well priced. Homemade chips and hand battered fish! The market is great too! Great shop - lots of unique items! Great produce! One stop shopping! The cafeteria is ok - very basic!

First time I went only got a minor glimpse. Now, a couple times later, I can't get enough of the place! Haven't even checked out the fish market yet! The place holds a little something for everyone, at least in my humble opinion. You gotta go for a visit, its worth it!

What a place to visit! Just off the highway about 20 minutes outside Truro, Nova Scotia it is a 'must stop' on your journey. A beehive of activity offering gift shop, greenhouse plants and garden items, deli, grocery store, restaurant with great soups and sandwiches, bakery and more. There is a lighthouse on site and although 'out of place' since... More

Avoid the chain restaurants and stores in Truro and stop here instead. We never miss a chance to visit when travelling to/from Halifax. Market, deli, bakery, gift shop, ice cream, fresh-made sandwiches, home-style soups, ample seating/parking. I could go on and on. See for yourself.

Also during peak season the food truck is open which is supposed to have fantastic good. Then we wondered thru the market gift store which had Christmas decorations & more for sale, there is... More

veggies fresh and mostly always better priced than Truro stores. ..not quite as broad of a selection of a variety of veggies as the superstore but Masstown carries plenty. the market is a busy, bustling, vibrant place wheee one can shop, eat, buy groceries, buy garden needs, meet a friend, pick-up a quick, and healthy dinner..in short: it's a gold...
