This hike was fantastic. The views at the middle of the loop are breathtaking. The whole thing, I think about 7 miles, was mostly easy to moderate, with just a couple steepish sections, and then a bunch of stairs down to the viewing platforms. The view of the Bay are stunning. And we saw two moose, one like 20 feet... more

Great views from the Skyline Trail. It's about a 2-3 hour walk plus we ended up packing our lunch and enjoyed the views for another hour. While we were having lunch a family of moose (mom, dad and baby) wandered by to say hello to us tourists. Great experience and worth the walk! more

The Skyline Trail is accessible to nearly everyone and what a wonderful surprise awaits you at the end of the trail - whale watching. Canada has done a magnificent job with this and other trails making them accessible without disturbing too much of the natural landscape. We saw a mother moose and her young along the trail...what a large creature!... more
