We had a great guide named, Frank. He told us all about the different whales and other sea life to be seen. We did see dolphins and seals but no whales. Trip out was a bit rough but it was fun anyway.

Very entertaining guide! Saw lots of adorable seals and some meinke whales real close. Great scenery. Captain was fantastic - even let the kids drive the boat!! Totally worth the family rate. Highly recommend bringing seat cushions - seats are hard.

They did their best, but for whatever reason the day we went there was at most a single sighting of a whale for about 2 seconds, and water was rough, so a few people got quite seasick. The scenery was beautiful, and the guide did a good job of telling about the area.

We enjoyed our visit to the sea with the Love Boat Whale Cruises! The staff was friendly and professional and we got to see a pack of pilot whales from quite close by. The captain steered the boat safely even in the poor weather we had - actually we got a chance to see funnel cloud in the horizon! After... More

First time whale watching, staff very knowledgable and polite. Seen a pod of about 50 Pilot whales and they let the kids steer the boat which they loved. Would recommend this adventure to anyone.

Yes we saw whales, not many but 2 sightings. The voyage was more than whales, it included history of the area, views of the coast and the smells of the sea. Worth the time - yes yes.

Frank gave us a great summary of the different types of whales and the topography of the region. Dan the boat's pilot was friendly and encouraged us to have our picture taken piloting the boat. No need... More

We had an amazing time! We saw so many whales couldn't count them. They were very close to the boat. The guide was informative and a lot of fun. Well worth the money.

Most were some distance away, but a few came right by the boat. I got some good photos. I'm sure that some other places have better whale watching, but the cruise was as advertised, at a fair price, and you are pretty much guaranteed to see some whales. The trip took 2.5 hours. They have a bathroom, and sell water... More

Captain John was patient and determined to find whales ... We saw several Minke whales and about six large Fin whales! Overall, excellent trip ... Well worth the money! Guide was informative about the local history ... And as other reviews mentioned, the Captain let a little boy drive the boat. ... Very cool!
