The trail to the waterfall is well marked so you can't get lost. The walk is fairly easy on a well groomed path. The length of the trail to the waterfall is about 2 km, but there are more marked trails to explore (about 7 km). Allow at least 2 hours for hiking to the waterfall. You will want to... More

The hike was lovely, but we were aiming to see the falls and ran out of time because we lost our way. We passed a lot of people and nobody knew where they were or how to get to the falls. Definitely need to update the maps, as it was very frustrating for us, and we had to leave to... More

May 28 2015 nine of us hiked to the falls. It was an easy trek, path marked clearly and beautiful scenery. The top of the falls was breathtaking. We all sat and reflected for ten minutes before the trek back down. We passed a few others making their way along the trail. It is a bit narrow but cut back... More

because the sign-posted maps were very unclear. However, the walk in the woods is lovely and even though we didn't see the falls, we were walking next to a stream the entire time.

This hike is not hard but beautiful and worth the drive. I went in the winter to snowshoe several times and really enjoyed it.

Tucked away, we totally enjoyed the hike to the falls - not too difficult to do so great for families with active children - a break from driving.

This was a beautiful trail and waterfall a short drive outside of Baddeck. A must see! I am so glad that we found it! We did get a bit lost, as we were following a map on our cell phone, and we lost reception part way there. Definitely bring water and bug spray!

Enjoyable trail to the falls. There are a few different trails to take of varying lengths so something for everyone. It's about a 10 - 15 minute drive from Baddeck. The visitor's center has a good map to get you there.

Didn't see a single other person on the trail! Gorgeous! Rough road to get there though...and minimal signage.
