After a short drive from Baddeck over a rough road and a short hike on good paths the top of the falls appears although you can hear them from a short distance away. A set of steps down to the base of the falls gives a good view of the falls, and a short path along the river leads to... More

My husband and I wanted to go on a hike that was a bit more challenging than a boardwalk but not too much as I have knee issues. At my speed it took a little over 2hrs for round trip to the falls. Some places were muddy and the closer to the falls the more rugged it got as the... More

This park offers a nice trail up a stream to some glorious falls. The depth of the gorge and the path of the water were absolutely amazing. Highly recommended!!

About a 2km walk in. About an hour. Beautiful scenic route and very nice waterfall for such an easy walk. Try to get there early in the morning before a crowd shows up. Belt your voice in the forest and if it's warm, don't forget your bathing suit!

A tranquil, peaceful walk on a glorious sunny day. Went with my daughter-in-law and 2 little hirlsgranddaughters. Please note that the trail is. It stroller friendly. We had to leave I about 10 minutes in. However with a baby carrier and a few carries or the mud for the older one, we made it to the top. The kids were... More

My husband and I hiked this later in the day so we had to stick to the main trail. I wish we had had time to take the loop trail before dark. As we entered the trail, we heard little rustling sounds and found that we were surrounded by about 20 ruffed grouse. The trail was easy to follow and... More

Pretty trail. Great for all ages and fitness levels. A big tricky to find depending what book you use for directions.

We hiked this beautiful dappled lit trail on our last day in Baddeck. Lots of wonderful mushroom and cool trees along the route. My crazy husband climbed up (not recommended) and got some photos of the upper part of the falls. He had difficulty getting down so be careful. met some great people and over all just a wonderful time.

Not overly difficult but the falls are beautiful. Be ready to take lots of pictures! MIght not be great for small kids as the rocks can be a bit slippery but we definitely enjoyed our time here.

A lovely hike with many photo ops and gentle landscape. Such variety in one rather short hike. Lovely
