A Nice hike through the woods near Baddeck. The falls themselves were underwhelming as I expected them to be larger (not sure if any single drop was even 8 feet high). That being said I enjoyed the hike, and it feels like an easy/moderate hike (whereas Skyline feels like a boardwalk stroll) with a few steep inclines and roots crossing... More

We took the long way in and it was absolutely amazing, so beautiful. We walked along the river for a bit...our total was two hours and we stopped at the waterfall for about a half hour. Which was well worth it. There were shorter hikes to the falls too...

Visited Baddeck to drive around the Cabot Trail. We arrived in town early, so our B&B host suggested this hike. It was June 1 but there was still some snow on the trail that prevented us from actually reaching the base of the falls. However, we could see them from the bridge. The water was pretty, but we are used... More

This is a great place for nature lovers! It's a bit out of the way, up a 4km dirt road which is only marked by a small sign. However, the road is well maintained. The trails were really nice too. There is a short route, and a long route. Our only issue was the bugs were really bad, and we... More

great hike, not too strenuous, with gorgeous outlooks along the way. You can hear and see the water nearly the whole hike. Beautiful falls, we went in June and there was even some fallen snow/ice along the trail.

Must see if you are in the area! Nice hike with waterfalls. Quiet and peaceful. Be careful on the dirt road on the way!

This was a nice stop for an easy hike after visiting Baddeck. It's a little bit out of the way on a rural road. We took the longer loop to the right through a hardwood forest and saw some fresh moose tracks but didn't see any moose. When entering the trail we met another hiker who had seen a few... More

Relatively easy, short hike. The falls are beautiful! We also enjoyed how friendly the locals are. Everyone says Hello to you as they are passing by. We were told that some newlyweds actually hike out to the falls to get their photos taken - and it is easy to see why! We got a little lost following the GPS to... More

This is a great place to stretch your legs, take a four legged friend for a walk, smell the spruce trees, have a pic nic lunch, and soak up the great energy of a beautiful waterfall. If you catch it on the right day you might be the only one on the trail. Other days be prepared for the tour... More

Relatively short and easy hike to the falls, had the trails to ourselves in mid-July, and it's a wonderful view at the end where you can jump along the rocks at the base of the falls. A recommended short hike for the area.
