Really enjoyed this hike! a girl was rock climbing up the falls which made for some added entertainment. Took an 18 month in a ergo baby . Good for seniors and young children .

The trail itself is only a few kilometres to the falls which are really great but the most interesting part is the root formations. Especially in one part, the roots looked like they had captured great big boulders, hugging them and chaining them to the ground. Trees hung over onto the river giving the appearance that they could just fall... More

If you're staying in Baddeck for a couple days, you really should take a hike here. The payoff at trail's end is a spectacular four-tiered waterfall that's stunning, romantic, inspiring. We picnicked on a flat rock just below these falls and just ate quietly as we stared, awestruck.

We wanted to do this hike to the falls for a few years now and decided to spend the day in Baddeck and knock this one off our bucket list. The drive to the park where the trail starts is about 3.6 kms from the main road. We headed in and had a good walk. The closer you get to... More

Lovely woodland walk to falls starting at car park 4km from road down good quality dirt track. We added the loop which walks back beside the river. Total walk was only just over hour. Quite a few mosquitoes about in car park but less in trees. Path fairly easy but tree roots and rocks on paths so need stout shoes.... More

The falls are beautiful but rather tricky to get to, especially with children. If your a hiker or adventurer, than this a wonderful place for you.

Not overly long or difficult, a nice outing along the river and through the forest with the prospect of the falls at the end of the trail. Nothing spectacular but a good experience worth doing from Baddeck

We first put the falls into Google maps and it took us this weird way that I don't think would ever get us there. Google map the Uisage Ban Falls Provincial Park for more reliable directions. When we arrived, a cruise ship bus was right in front of us. Ugh. We walked the longer way to the falls, along the... More

This hike takes about 30-45 minutes. Mostly because you want to stop and take pictures and OOH and AHH. The hike is easy/moderate. It is NOT handicap accessible. You must have good balance and be able to walk over roots, rocks, bridges, etc. It is perfect for children who love to climb and explore. The waterfall at the end of... More
