Relatively easy, short hike. The falls are beautiful! We also enjoyed how friendly the locals are. Everyone says Hello to you as they are passing by. We were told that some newlyweds actually hike out to the falls to get their photos taken - and it is easy to see why! We got a little lost following the GPS to... More

This is a great place to stretch your legs, take a four legged friend for a walk, smell the spruce trees, have a pic nic lunch, and soak up the great energy of a beautiful waterfall. If you catch it on the right day you might be the only one on the trail. Other days be prepared for the tour... More

Relatively short and easy hike to the falls, had the trails to ourselves in mid-July, and it's a wonderful view at the end where you can jump along the rocks at the base of the falls. A recommended short hike for the area.

I have been on this hike many times over the years with my family and with friends. It has plenty of parking if you follow the circle around. There are two outhouses for public use at the entrance to the trail and there are picnic tables as well. When you enter you can do a five km hike if you... More

Pros: sheltered picnic area, well groomed trails, new bridges, delightful tree roots Cons: limited parking, falls partially covered by trees Travelling from Nova Scotia’s economic hub in Halifax toward the famous Cabot Trail, I found myself yearning for a hike after spending 4 hours driving into Baddeck - a quant, beautiful lakeside village. I was thrilled to find a covered... More

If you're in the Baddeck area and looking for a relatively easy hike that is about 2 hours round trip - this is it! The scenery is fantastic and it`s not crowded or touristy.

On our trip through Nova Scotia - Cape Breton we walked Uisafe Ban Falls. The walk took about about 2 hours covering the various trails that are all very well marked. The falls are beautiful and we stopped there for a short picnic. The walking trails and falls are great for families and children.

We went for the afternoon and the kids loved it. It wasn't too hard of a hike for them and it ended with a cold dip in the waterfall. Beautiful hike. Look forward to going again!

Even though it was getting dark and it was drizzling, we drove over to the Usige Ban falls for a quick dash on the falls trail for a view of the beautiful Usige Ban waterfalls. The trail head was a half hour drive from Baddeck and included a 5min drive on a mud road. The trail had a thick canopy... More

Best value because its great fun for free. As an earlier reviewer suggested, we took a picture of the trail map at the start and that was a great help. Another group of hikers that passed us (we had a dog along) missed the trail to the falls and wandered lost on the river trail. To get to the falls,... More
