Most paths are nothing but rocks and roots. Was going down a hill holding handrail and it broke off almost sending me 20 feet down a rocky cliff. Very little work done on repairs over the last two years. Signage is poor. This was our third trip there, first in two years, probably won't go back , in my mind... More

We had a hard time locating this, but worth the trip. Gorgeous walks to and around waterfall. Well marked trails. We were warned it could be crowded, but this wasn't the case at all when we were there in the height of the season.

We really enjoyed walking this trail. There are different paths available to allow you different scenery and lengths of the trail. The waterfall is really impressive and we got some great photo's just getting there.

Great, manageable walk in. The drive to the park was long on a dirt road. It felt a little isolated and spooky but the falls were jaw dropping. Worth the walk.

Officially called the "Uisge Ban Falls", the trail was a short drive from Baddeck, then a 45-minute walk to the falls. The road to the car park was full of potholes. No sports cars please. The walk to the falls was somewhat hazardous and slippery at places. There were insufficient signs to point you to the right direction and people... More

Having visited the site over the course of several years it is staggering to report how far this State Park has fallen. The reality is that upon entering the park you should see a caution, or dangerous, or hazard sign posted. Once moderately maintained footpaths have now nearly eroded over time. Wooden platforms over muddy segments are uneven and frequently... More

A Nice hike through the woods near Baddeck. The falls themselves were underwhelming as I expected them to be larger (not sure if any single drop was even 8 feet high). That being said I enjoyed the hike, and it feels like an easy/moderate hike (whereas Skyline feels like a boardwalk stroll) with a few steep inclines and roots crossing... More

We took the long way in and it was absolutely amazing, so beautiful. We walked along the river for a bit...our total was two hours and we stopped at the waterfall for about a half hour. Which was well worth it. There were shorter hikes to the falls too...

Visited Baddeck to drive around the Cabot Trail. We arrived in town early, so our B&B host suggested this hike. It was June 1 but there was still some snow on the trail that prevented us from actually reaching the base of the falls. However, we could see them from the bridge. The water was pretty, but we are used... More

This is a great place for nature lovers! It's a bit out of the way, up a 4km dirt road which is only marked by a small sign. However, the road is well maintained. The trails were really nice too. There is a short route, and a long route. Our only issue was the bugs were really bad, and we... More
