The trail head is about 20 minutes north out of Baddeck and surprisingly busy with car park full of ramblers. A couple of choices includes river trail and waterfall trail with multiple crossovers so you don't have to cover the same ground in and out! Imagine our surprise when we reached the waterfall to discover four ladies in bikinis cavorting... More

This is one of the best hiking trails for a family to do together as it has a more direct route to falls for little ones or a more challenging walk along the river for teens and adults . Either way great spot and you won't be disappointed.

This is a very easy hike with very few climbs. Beautiful trail with tree roots, ferns and a little creek on the side. We found the hike to be nicer than the fall! There wasn't much water coming down. The rock face where the water flows Is stunning. Make sure you do both ways. The falls trail on the way... More

The only negative comment I have to make about the experience of walking along the trail, next to a rushing river to the amazing water falls, coming out of the rock, is the following. From the parking area one can not anticipate the need for wearing good walking shoes. The trail is well marked but rough with tree roots and... More

Absolutely amazing!! A must do. The falls are beautiful. Well worth the hike in. It's about a 25 minute walk but fairly easy terrain. Can be muddy/wet so wear appropriate footwear and bring a change of shoes.

If you ask a local for directions it helps to pronounce it right. Just a 20 minute drive (partly washboard roads when we went) to the trail-head. Take your time on the walk, enjoy the scenery all the way - not just the gorgeous waterfall at the end. Highly recommend. Very easy trail.

This is our favorite place to revisit each trip to Baddeck. A great hike on a well maintained trail and a nice swim at the end!!

Wonderful, moderate-easy hike. Just long enough (30 min each direction). Beautiful falls. One of the highlights of our trip.

Fairly easy hike for our kids (6 and 9) into the falls. Beautiful setting. Lovely way to spend 1/2 day if visiting Baddeck area. Highly recommend if you enjoy a nice walk in the woods.

The falls are beautiful, and along the way there are trees growing on top of boulders that is both strange and beautiful. The hike was fairly easy, a great one for young kids. Our 4 year old had an awesome time! I would recommend it for anyone, but don't forget bug spray ;)
