I found this place on the parrsboro town website and I'm glad I did. Our group included 8, 11, 46, 68 years old. I was a little nervous that we couldn't handle it but rest assured we did. It's for all ages - young and old. The guides were awesome- informative and very fun and this made the trip for... More

My husband and I are avid kayakers so we didn't want to miss the experience of kayaking the Bay of Fundy. Because of the tides we chose to paddle with NovaShores Adventures and used their double kayaks instead of our 17 foot singles. The whole day way brilliant, perfect weather, stunning scenery and a very professionally run company. We paddled... More

Though my family are novices, kayaking the Bay of Fundy seemed like a cool thing to do. From the reviews I read on tripadvisor I thought NovaShores would be the company for us. Boy, was I right! Anne was friendly and very helpful. She quashed any fears I had about the family's lack of experience. A couple of days before... More

Wow! I've never been sea kayaking so I was a bit apprehensive about doing it, but it was a spectacular sunny day with barely any wind and it was a lower tide cycle. I found it easier than canoeing, so that was a relief (so I could appreciate the scenery and not just focus on paddling). Double kayaks they gave... More

My wife and I are in our 70's. We have never been in a Kayak. Anne reassured us and arranged for Landon and John to be our guides. Myself with John and my wife with Landon. The experience was phenomenal. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. This is the way to experience the tides of the Bay of... More

The location is amazing!! John did a great job as our guide. My parents who are in their late 50's and inexperienced in kayaking, had a great time. Lunch on the beach was great! Advocate Harbour might seem like it's in the middle of no where, but it is beyond worth the drive and time. I wish we would have... More

I, a 49-year old male, did a day-trip kayak with Landon and John. Absolutely loved it. This is a great way to see Cape Chignecto's stunning cliffs, sea stacks, and arches. The guides told us about geology and local history. Lunch was excellent, including a salad with lettuce from NovaShores' own garden and delicious homemade bread.

We had a great time. The guide was amazing and had so much knowledge. we were entertained the whole time. also he could cook and we had gourmet home cooked food for every meal. He even worked at taking all rubbish home to find we had only 1/2 a sandwich bag of rubbish. Very eco friendly. The weather wasnt good... More

In the wilds of Nova Scotia here is a trip where the only sound is water, birds and the gentle lapping of a paddle. Your guide Anna takes you on a leisurely paddle beside the stunning cliffs that tower above you. We felt very safe in her hands as she an experienced professional. For over 60s like us this was...
