I live off the grid so its been a while (dont get into town computer often) since we went on this holiday in October. We did a lot of adventures and hiking all over Nova Scotia, from Halifax to the Bay of Fundy to Cape Breton. This adventure stood out for its quality guides, great food and amazing setting. If... Far from being a crime, having your breath taken away on the Novashores Adventures kayaking tour is a must do for anyone traveling near Cape Chignecto. After being well equipped with PFD and spray skirt, the pleasant winding drive took us to our launch site in the park. Else gave clear and encouraging instructions that, even for a first time... My husband and I recently joined one of the sea kayaking groups for a day of exploring from Spicer's Cove to Eatonville. Everyone was very friendly and prepared us well for your adventures. The drive to the site was beautiful. Novashores adventures is very organized and educational. Paddling past the cliffs and through the massive rocks was just awesome. The... More

We had a wonderful afternoon kayaking with Werner and Else Marie. They really took time to make us feel totally safe, gave us some great advice on technique and then led us on a gorgeous trip from Spicer's Cove to Eatonville. We have hiked in this area, but it is amazing how much more you see at water's level. Eagles,... More

Although it has been well over a month since we returned from our first trip to Atlantic Canada, I knew I had to write a review on our kayaking experience with NovaShores Adventure. This was a trip we took with our 14 year old grandson. Our guides were Anne and Anthony who were fabulous and very knowledgeable of the area... More

Hey Donalda, so glad you all enjoyed our Fundy Explorer tour. We do our utmost to make the expereince one of the best you can have in Nova Scotia. It was a memorable day for all of us - the clam digging before the tour was certainly an adventure to remember - it really demonstrated the power and speed that... More

My sister and I had a wonderful experience with NovaShores. Friendly service right from the beginning with our phone call to Else Marie to book our trip. When we met Werner and Anna at Spicer's Cove, we were warmly welcomed and got strapped into our boats. Anna's enthusiasm was contagious and it was wonderful to have our little history lessons... Definitely a must see and do on the Bay of Fundy. It is incredible to see the tide change from the water. Our guides Anna and Anthony did a great job of keeping 6 tandems kayaks moving forward. They gave us instruction before starting out, so even if you have never kayaked you will learn and enjoy the day.

Hi Sunshine, glad you enjoyed our day tour on the big tides of the Fundy. As a experienced paddler who enjoys unique destinations you would probably enjoy our multi day tours even more. With small groups in what is the most dramatic kayaking destination in eastern Canada Im sure you would enjoy the small groups (max 6, usually 2-4) professional... More

My 2 adult children and I arranged for a 1/2 day kayaking while in Nova Scotia. We chose NovaShores on the basis of other reviews and location. It exceeded all our expectations! It was to be a 1/2 day adventure but we ended up spending more than an extra hour because we were all enjoying ourselves so much. We had... More

Glenn's guided kayak tour from East Dover, including the hike around Dover Island, was the highlight of our five days on Nova Scotia. And we enjoyed many attractions, to give you an idea of how this rates. We don't even want to give you any descriptions, because you need to experience this for yourself! If you can only schedule one... More

Hi Ariane, great that we fulfilled your image of what Canada should be like. The Bay of Fundy kayaking from Advocate Harbour certainly is a world class destination and although well off the beaten path and thus relatively unknown - it is one of Canada's most spectacular kayaking destinations. Now you need to come back and try out our Atlantic... More
