We were fortunate to have beautiful sunshine during our time in Rocky Harbour, so were able to enjoy spectacular views from the lighthouse. There are short but interesting trails to explore, and if your timing is right, a most engaging presentation by an extremely knowledgable park attendant. I'd be careful with young children on trails near cliffs and many of... More

Beautiful views, interesting exhibits. Beautiful walk down to the coastline and some interesting rock formations. Great place to grab a snack and relax.

Nice Lighthouse built on rocky coast, with some short hiking trails around, interesting story of the history, but it was being renovated when we were there

It is there. looks like a tourist sort of thing. My best lighthouse vote goes to Rose Blanche, or the mystery lighthouse north of St. Barbe.

We were there later on in the afternoon, and we just toured around the place, great scenery. I was amazed with everything about the Lighthouse, it was disappointing we couldn't go inside the lighthouse to have a look around.

Very picturesque - lots of interesting history. Good walking trails and explanations of the families that kept the light house

It's only a short drive from Rocky Harbor. It is the light house as seen from Rocky Harbor. To a landlubber like us: all ocean side vistas are definitely captivating. Although this is atypical of light houses in Nfld, up and down the trails provides different views and perspectives. A good place for a short visit or long if U... More

There are walking trails to take in, but the scenery near the lighthouse was breath taking. It's too bad that you can't actually go into the original lighthouse building or the lighthouse itself (at the Point Amour Lighthouse in Labrador you can go all the way to the top). The interpretive space is a large tent outside the main building... More

We visited on a very windy day and the scenery was breathtaking. We visited the tent and talked to the guide. He was very informative. His uncle was one of the children that grew up in the lighthouse.
