Good on any day .. but, if you have a rainy/foggy day, this is a great spot. The site is worth a trip and a walk around in good weather , but it is a great option for that "rainy " day. It is very well set up . It contains a lot of the island history , along with... More

I enjoyed this scenic lighthouse and the displays that were presented inside. The information and history that was provided were top drawer and the staff were so very kind and wonderful to deal with.

The Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse is definitely worth a stop of an hour or so. The lighthouse itself is very interesting, and the views out over the water are quite spectacular. It's a good spot for photographers!

Good for a quick exterior viewing, while travelling on to a boat tour on Western Brook Pond. It's on a road with a 30 km/h speed limit.

This was among the best look out points on the Gros Morne parkway. From the parking lot you walked up to the light house and then took the path that trailed to the right. At the next fork, we took the path to the left and this led to a sort of landing on the side of the cliff that... More

Did not visit inside the lighthouse, once again, pouring rain, looks like it would be very scenic when the sun shines!

In addition to telling us the history of the lighthouse Bonnie Lou entertained us with songs and stories while we waited for the rain to stop.

Located about a 5 minute drive from Rocky Harbour, this lighthouse has very interesting displays and pictures about the history of maritime Newfoundland. There is one room set up like a light housekeeper's home. It is not possible to see the front of the lighthouse. You need the park pass for admission.

The lighthouse has some nice exhibits to teach about the history inside, and there are numerous short trails to explore the coast surrounding the lighthouse that are pretty easy to walk, even in the rain! Worth stopping by if you have the time.
