We had a great time Kayaking to see the Orcas. We were on a 2 day,1 night trip. Our guide was superb and really looked after us. The camp was great and very comfortable and the food was very impressive, especially the blueberry pancakes!

We had a 5 day trip in September, it was our first time in the kayak. Group size was 5 persons and our guide. As promised we had a quick and short introduction about handling the kayak, got quickly into the water. No problem handling the kayaks - it's pretty simple. Our guide Julian is an absolute professional out on... More

Although we were beginners with the kayak, we really had a great time and enjoyed the tour. Brad, our guide, was helpful always and patient, specially at the beginning:The second day one kayak of our team made a bad choice during the crossing of Johnstone Strait in bad water conditions and currents, but Brad H. really helped us and we... Beautiful location, great base camps, decent food. My boat had 3 cracks around the hatch opening repaired with duct tape. The company's lead guide Brad H. did not provide any instruction to our novice paddlers, rarely shared any knowledge or information, fed wild birds bread chunks, fed wild mice tequilla soaked bread chunks, and smoked in the kitchen, on the... We went on the three day trip and had an amazing time! The wildlife sightings were phenomenal including two hours of close up orca encounter. Josh and Brian were brilliant guides and chefs! They worked so hard to ensure everyone had a great time and made that seem effortless, when I am sure it is not. With great camps too,... More

Waking up the morning of our half day trip we were unpleasantly surprised by heavy rains. A call to North Island Kayak confirmed that this was only a 'small' shower and the trip was definitely happening. Fortunately the shower stopped and we got a good and relaxed briefing from our guide Brian. We received good rain gear and a waterproof... More

I went on a half day tour with Julian and Amanda in August and it was a great experience. The first thing I would like to say is no we did not see orcas. I did not expect to see orcas and it also isn't the company or the guide's fault that we didn't see them. They are wild animals... More

My wife and I went on a 3 day kayak trip in September 2014. Guides Julian and Brian were skilled, knowledgable and gracious with the whole group. Food was top notch, equipment and campsites were well kept (love those thick Thermarests!). We saw lots of wildlife - a wonderful bonus - and had a great time. Out of curiosity I... More

The food was great, and our 2 guides, Becky and Josh, were amazing. So everything you read is true ;-). But here are a few infos I would like to have found here... More

I brought 10 students in grades 11 and 12 on a 3 day, paddling trip down Johnstone Strait with three guides. We spent 2 nights camping on the beach and did an Introduction to Sea Kayaking course with NI along the way. It was awesome! The guides and service that they provided to our students was phenomenal.
