Sun peaks was amazing, great place for a mid summer getaway. We visited as part of three couples who were looking to escape the summer heat. While the weather was a bit rainy and cool the reception at sun peaks wS warm and inviting.

I bet this place is amzing in winter. We stayed here for one night at the end of May and arrived early evening. There seemed to be loads of shops and places to eat, many were shut and I don't know if they were open in the day as we arrived after 6.00 pm. Very picturesque and we found a... More

This is a winter resort. We made a huge mistake and stayed there in June, thankfully for only one night. It was like a ghost town most businesses closed, and midges everywhere. If it was not so far off the main road we would have turned around and left, but after a 300 mile drive to get there we just... More

This was our first time back since the birth of our daughter (now 2) and it turned out to be the right choice again, with the daycare right on the hill. Since we came in mid March the snow conditions weren't the greatest, but it was hardly the resort's fault. The issue was it was thawing and getting slushy, especially... More

If you're a decent skier you will find plenty to give you an adrenalin rush - there were 1 or 2 times I was out of my comfort zone. ha! It's not JUST suitable for experts/advanced though, there are good runs for all levels. Some pretty runs (not difficult) through the trees also. Every Friday there's a giant slalom race... More

Awesom! Loved the ski in/out villiage and the atmosphere was so much fun! Good sized mountain with lots of different terrain to explore! Cant wait to return!

Great place for skiing. Plenty of varied terrain and well groomed slopes that are practically empty by European standards with everyone appearing friendlier than average. We stayed at the Delta Resort which was also excellent and very convenient for everything. Apres ski and night life was quiet but enough restaurants to keep you going. Our favourite was the Steak House... More

Should be renamed sh :O peaks. Dog poop everywhere. For the best experience, come in the spring when the whole winter's worth of crap is melting out of the snow and flowing down the pathways. Savour the aroma of the little streams of sun-warmed, liqufied excrement that trickle across the walkways and parking lots. The village walking path is paved... More

It's a lovely destination and a short drive north of Kamloops, B.C. Although it's primarily a winter destination, we decided to see what it was like in the summertime. I was impressed with its location - green mountains, lots of color, and a good choice of restaurants despite it being off season. It's a great place for a quiet get-away... More
