Lovely quiet place although not much to do in September, but with a one night stop over was limited for time but can imagine it being a wonderful ski resort, I found the area very peaceful and relaxing.

Since this is TripAdvisor #2 rated attractions in Sun Peaks, I assume the listing is for the actual peak, or mountaintop. The village of Sun Peaks is, however, North America’s second largest ski resort town. In mid-September there was little to do, and many shops open at noon. It seems that the ski village is solely dependent upon a heavy... More

Out of the ski season it was like a ghost down with very little open. Half restaurants closed and no activities available in the evening.

Very quiet during our visit, as it was the last long weekend of the summer season. Even so ,I was surprised how many stores didnt open till 12pm. The village is very much a mini Whistler, and you can see the potential in this area.

Stunning because the weather was so good as in photo above a sleepy town normally. Our guide likened the town as Whister before steroids. Hikes, bike riding and golf available in summer. Foot race was taking place on the weekend

I have been to Sun Peaks in the Winterwith the family to ski, and the Summer for the music festival. Both times were wonderful! I am planning to return this winter with the family. We have 8 of us and the choice between hotel or condo is great. and priced right for a family vacation! Thanks Sun Peaks

A beautiful picturesque landscape. Friendly locals, great food, refreshing holiday location. We visited at the end of winter but still managed to ski, go on the ski limousine, dogsled and snow shoe. Sun Peaks has charm and charisma.

We decided to visit Sun Peaks for the Friday and Saturday free concert series, our package deal included two nights in a hotel and front of stage passes. It was a good value and even though the weather wasn't perfect and I had a cold so we couldn't hike, it was very enjoyable. The numerous village walking trails and pedestrian... More

Love sun peaks, Love the golf course, Love the scenery, but...the IDIOTS THAT RUN THE GOOFY GO CART TRACK feel the rest of the mountain wants to listen to their crappy music at full volume. It really detracts from the outdoor feel of such a beautiful place. I don't think they could have put Mr. toads pitiful ride anywhere worse... More
