This ski resort was amazing. Not only was it not as busy as some of larger ones, but it had some awesome runs. I did not graduate pas the Gentle Giant slope (bit uncoordinated) but it was so much fun. Nice restaurants and nice ski town vibe. Definitely would come back here again.

My wife and I visited my friend while he worked at Sun Peaks. We loved it here. It is so secluded with fantastic mountains and views. The village is beautiful and there is always something going on. It's close enough to Kamloops as well, which is great if you need something. There seems to be something to do whether winter... More

Lots of good ski runs and no lines to get up the mountain. Could do with free internet within the town but there was free internet in some cafes. A really nice village. Ski field is easy to ge to from the airport.

We introduced our kids to skiing last year (we went to Big Bear a 2hr drive for us) so for round two of skiing we wanted to find a family friendly place and decided that Sun Peaks would be it. We were not disappointed! Flights from LAX to Vancouver was easy, then a car hire (from Dollar rentals at the... More

Having skied at Whistler for many years, we switched to Sun Peaks when we moved "up-north". Sun Peaks has grown from a sleepy skiing village into a full-service resort with all amenities; whilst still retaining a "village" feel; well-suited for families. Skiing is excellent and SP staff do a superb job of keeping the runs in good shape. Have logged... More

We enjoyed our ski vacation at Sun Peaks from March 28 to 31, in spite of our initial disappointment. We feel that we were mislead by Sun Peaks Central Reservations. We were really looking forward to our ski in/ski out condo. (We booked the Fireside Lodge). Central reservations really needs to inform patrons when there is no snow near the... More

If you want the best skiing BC has to offer, and you have outgrown the need to ski 5000 vertical feet all at once and find 3000 vertical adequate for your aging legs, then Sun Peaks is definitely where you want to be. Apart from the skiing and other snow sports, you can have fine dining at a different restaurant,... More

We had a good time. The resort did its best with what snow they had. Very friendly and helpful staff. It's not very busy compared to Whistler. Our only bad experience was shopping at Jardine's Ski Store. The owner was very rude and very unhelpful. She literally sold a jacket underneath us and laughed at me.

Having skied previously in Banff and Whistler we were looking for a venue with the best of both worlds - ski-in/out location of Whistler with the feel of the town of Banff. Sun Peaks offers this combination in spades and even though there wasn't a great deal of snow this year (apparently one of the worst winters in Western Canada... More
