So what’s the best golf course you’ve ever played? For many people, after they complete the epic journey at Greywolf, they’ve got a brand new favourite. Located in a spectacular alpine setting at Panorama Mountain Village, Greywolf is a course that just wins people over, time and time again. Recognized by Golf Digest as one of the Top-100 Courses in the World Outside of the United States, Greywolf is about as impressive as mountain golf gets.Designed by talented Canadian architect Doug Carrick, who has built many of Canada’s best courses in the past decade, Greywolf features several holes that will be seared in your memory bank for a long time. The dynamite collection of par-3s, capped by the diabolical Cliffhanger hole, is, unquestionably, one of the best in the world. With beautifully sculpted bentgrass fairways and hair-raising elevation changes, your round at Greywolf is going to be one for the ages.

We travelled out of our way to play Greywolf and it was definitely worth the effort. The first three holes play uphill but after that there is a nice mixture of holes and elevation changes. The famous 6th hole is tucked away and you don't see the ravine it plays around on any other hole, which is what makes it... More

Greywolf was in immaculate condition. It is hard to beleive that a golf course can be built and maintained in the mountains as well as this course is. The greens were excellent and the staff was very friendly. It is one of the best courses I have ever played.

Played Greywolf today with my wife and son and had an amazing time! The course is everything mountain golf should be, with hills, valleys, downhill tee shots and of course the famous Cliffhanger 6th hole! It would be the most dramatic golf course scenery we had ever played had we not played Silvertip in Canmore the day before, which was... More

Greywolf golf course will forever be on our top 5! We recently played when it was only 6 degrees, but luckily it warmed up a tiny bit during our round. We never regretted our decision to play as this course is stunningly beautiful with lush green fairways that feel like you are walking on clouds. Surrounded by towering mountains, thick... More

I was vacationing in Windemere with my son and we were looking forward to golfing at Greywolf. We had a late afternoon tee time and thoroughly enjoyed the back nine which we started on. Beautiful, challenging course. However, on the back nine - the pace of play came to a screeching halt and we had to call the proshop twice... More

Thanks for the review Israeltrip7, #6 tends to back log a bit as people love to take pics and take advantage of our 2 shot max rule if they don't make it over the canyon. I can say the day you played we did have a couple groups slow down play to 5 hours, sounds like you would have finished... More

Challenging, yet manageable for amateurs. Went with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed the course. Dinner in the dining room was excellent. Customer service throughout the whole day was excellent. Glad we chose grey wolf and will come again on our next golf trip.

Tuesday afternoon arrived to find the parking lot half empty. Told by my brother in law that mid week afternoons are usually wide open. We grabbed a quick hot dog and were on the first tee 20 minutes before are scheduled tee time. The course conditions were perfection. The greens were very firm and fast. Better bring a good short... Great to hear you enjoyed the afternoon David S. You are bang on with your evaluation of the first 6 golf holes at Greywolf, they can be very challenging and #6 can take a little longer than most par 3s as guests usually take a few pics of this magnificent golf hole. Thank you for taking the time to review... More
