We enjoy fruit wines and were happy to find one in the area. Fun place to visit, taste wine and enjoy the patio. Bought a quick snack of cherries, meat and cheese to complete a little afternoon picnic!

Very friendly and informative staff encouraged us to take our time and enjoy tasting their wines on the lovely garden patio.

I know nothing about fruit wines whatsoever. Visiting here was therefore educational. It also was interesting. IIf you are in the same boat knowledgewise, drop in. I found their products to be sufficiently interesting to buy three based on taste alone. Nice locale to sit down and sample, too.

In the past we have visited this winery and one of my travelling companions usually buys wine from here. This year all the wine sampled seemed to be too tart. Nothing bought by any of us at this one.

We spent an afternoon visiting vineyards in the Naramata bench area and this was our favorite. The wine was sooo good and the staff sooo nice. The area is just lovely. The courtroom that we were able to sit in was delightful. I would recommend a stop here. The wine is all made from fruit other than grapes but a... More

We never miss Elephant Island when we are in town. Their wines are terrific, and they have something (or a couple of somethings) for everyone. We often buy extra to use as gifts, but somehow some of those items don't quite make it to the gifting dept.! -The staff are genuine, knowledgable, and friendly....and there is a no rush atmosphere.... This winery, and all the others make for a grand weekend. My review is not only for Elephant Island, but for the whole of little Naramata. We live in a small town and enjoyed being in this small town for 4 days. Life is slow (way slower than it must have been 60 years ago), the Village is sweet and... More

This is a small winery and super-friendly. They offered a free tasting of 4 wines: all were delicious. I ended up buying several bottles of desert wine because they will pair perfectly with home made pie. I've had some really ghastly fruit wine in the past, but the options at Elephant Island are excellent.

My wife and I generally do not drink dry wines but prefer sweet desert wines and liquers. We were directed here by another winery and were very glad we came. Driving in through the orchard would not be possible in a large van or small motorhome as my crew cab truck barely fit. Once inside we were given a wine... More

I loved my experience at elephant island. We were able to sit on the patio and enjoy the sun and the breeze on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. There is no charge for the tasting of their fruit wines but you're pretty much guaranteed to find at least one that you love. It took a while for us to get service... More
