Went yesterday with a friend. We really enjoyed taking pictures of as many different butterflies as possible. Really warm inside - I would not recommend on a hot summers day.

Loved it! Last time I was here a few years back, it was getting pretty run down. Now, it is amazing! Gorgeous plants, ponds, tortoises and of course the butterflies. Spent two hours. Totally worth the trip!

Amazing! Seeing the butterflys come out of their cocoon is really neat. It was well worth the money!

We recently visited the Butterfly Gardens near Victoria and were very pleasantly surprised by the variety of plants and creatures there. As well as enjoying the wide variety of butterflies, we loved the parrot who chatted with us and cuddled all the ladies. The flamingos were elegant until they got irritated with each other and began honking loudly. We watched... More

They have butterfly, turtles, birds, but my favorite is the orchid gardens. In there you'll find among the orchids some water features with benches you can sit and read or just relax. You will want to take your time.

We decided to take our 3 year old daughter for a tour around the gardens. Although it was a bit rainy outside the inside was great. So many beautiful butterflies to see! She enjoyed the tortoises as well. Great little stop for the afternoon.

This was the first time that my wife and I had visited this attraction despite the fact that we've been regular visitors to the Parksville area for decades. I had mixed emotions about the visit. The plants in the gardens looked well cared for. And there seemed to be a lot of varied and colourful butterflies about. Very active too.... More

I have been to Butterfly world a couple of times and just love it. It was too hot for the turtles to be outside in the Orchard Garden which is nice to see. Watch where you step at all times as the butterflies are everywhere. Don't touch them either if they land on you just leave them alone. They will... More
