Went there for a school field trip. Did a scavenger hunt for info on stuff in the museum (Very Fun!). Needs an upgrade to put more exhibits. Everything else is good. Will definitely go there again.

it is always fun to visit the smaller museums, and this is a good one. Place for the kids to hang out in the lower level, special attractions on the main, and a good local history section upstairs. Conveniently located right downtown.

I went to the Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum in June and it was fantastic. There is an amazingly done War of 1812 display. It is filled with much of the history of Wetaskiwin and the area. There is much to explore in this museum on all of the levels. On the lower level there is a general store area... More

There are three levels to the museum and it is nicely arranged to showcase the history of a small town relative to... More

We stopped by thinking it would be a nice way to spend an hour if that. Well I couldn't get my kids to leave!!! This place transformed the basement into an old school house, an old country kitchen, an old general store, and back yard! The kids got to play with real old fashioned tools. From the old fashion stove... More
