Our guide, Marilyn, was very knowledgable about the history and explained the buildings and artifacts very well. The Stave Church was the highlight of our tour! Much love, time and effort was poured into this park! A must see! Our visit was blessed with a fawn bedded down in one of the flower beds!

I visited this park while visiting my son who lives in Minot. It was in the summer and it was quite nice and peaceful. You walk thru and see a few Scandinavian houses and one big horse statue. The visitors center is nice they sell some things that are unique and the staff are friendly. You can sign the log... More

We had an enjoyable time walking on the pathways and stopping to see the different statues along the way. As well, we spent time in the dwellings that were available for us to enter. Historical information was fabulous. Also the gift shop had some amazing articles for sale.

We found this park while driving through town. It was Sunday afternoon and everything was closed up, but it was still worth a stop to walk through the grounds and admire the workmanship. Especially liked the Hans Christian Andersen statue.

While looking for something to do between a business meeting and catching a flight, I had the good fortune of visiting the Scandinavian Heritage Park. My colleague and I spent a couple hours walking around the exhibits, snapping many pictures and just relaxing in a surprisingly peaceful environment. It was surprising how much was fit into this relatively small property.... More

Gigantic Dala Horse, authentic replica Scandinavian houses and a gorgeous ornate church, in the gift shop carved life sized trolls. I felt Tolkien-esk. Every detail was so perfect. A great serene place to stroll, great for kids.

This really a neat place to visit but it's not extensive enough to warrant a purposeful trip. There are a couple of buildings, a few statues and a nice gift shop. It is well done and something you should see if you are passing through Minot. The only exception might be when they have their annual festival.

Understanding the Heritage of the State of North Dakota by visiting this Park, this was History of the scandinavian nationality & fun to explore the roots & families from a distant past, will try to stop by for another visit sometime in the near future to show it to my family

Want to take a nice scenic walk that makes you feel you've left Minot? This is the place to do so. The grounds are always kept very nicely. Even in the winter, it's just a pretty place in the center of town. Children enjoy the various buildings there and it's a relaxing time.
