this was a great way to see Scandinavian Heritage. Colors and history were something I always wanted to know.

Gift shop is nice and the few guides in some of the buildings were very nice and knowledgeable. It was going through some grounds renovations but still pretty and fun.

An open air exhibit. Walk from building to building and enjoy the tour. There is plenty to see and enjoy. There are reconstructed houses, buildings and a church.

Our family visited Minot for the Easter break this year. Took a tour of the Scandinavian Heritage Park and it was snowing out. Everything was locked up because the season hadn't started yet. Took a few pictures and then jumped back into the van!

Nice setting with the centerpiece being the wooden church. Ponds needed attention but overall a nice short stroll to discover the roots of Scandinavia in the northern plains.

Stumbled upon this on my first trip to Minot in 2012. Neat little "piece" of Scandinavia to visit. I walked through on a Sunday when everything was closed up so didn't get a chance to go through some of the buildings. Most amazing was/is a Church which was dismantled in Scandinavian country, shipped over and reassembled. Beautiful architecture!!!!

The park was very nice and well kept. I brought my son's family to the park. We had to find things on our own. The people at the visitors bureau seemed unfriendly and did not care if information was given out or not. I consider this quite rude. If I have relatives coming over, I will never bring them into... The buildings are nice to look at, the park it self needs some attention. The ponds were not full or even half full, you could see the plastic on the bottom (which is torn). This activity will take at most 20 minutes.

My wife and I were the first people scheduled to marry in the stave kirk 13 years ago just as it was being finished. Beautiful. Don't forget to see the wonderful replica of the country Norwegian house too.
