My family and I were driving from Minot to Bismarck and stopped for a visit. This is a free place to visit, although they do accept donations. They have a few buildings to tour and have volunteers inside to explain the buildings. This was a nice visit and would recommend this to anyone in the area.

Considering that it's free, this is a simple but charming little park urban park in Minot. The stave church itself is worth seeing, as are some other little buildings and statues.

I was there in an evening and some features of the park weren't available, but the park contains some interesting architecture and cultural displays which are quite unique. I greatly enjoyed my walk in the park, and would like to go back when more things are open.

Great place to explore for an hour or so! Even better when you pack a lunch and have a picnic there. Great picture opportunities and the gift shop is worth checking out as well.

The ground were beautifully maintained. The buildings were authentic. The volunteers that staffed it, had pride in the park and knew it's history. They were enthusiastic to share the info and were friendly too.

No this is not Six Flags, the kids may find it a bit dull. However, If you are looking for some local flavor this little park is worth the stop.

The architecture of the building is so strikingly unique! There is much of its descendants still living in North Dakota today.

Our guide, Marilyn, was very knowledgable about the history and explained the buildings and artifacts very well. The Stave Church was the highlight of our tour! Much love, time and effort was poured into this park! A must see! Our visit was blessed with a fawn bedded down in one of the flower beds!

I visited this park while visiting my son who lives in Minot. It was in the summer and it was quite nice and peaceful. You walk thru and see a few Scandinavian houses and one big horse statue. The visitors center is nice they sell some things that are unique and the staff are friendly. You can sign the log... More
