We took our grandson to the zoo. Very well maintained. The only issue I have is the enclosures for the animals are so small. Hate to see a Lion in a small cage. There was a monkey in a habitat in front of the bears; absolutely loved this monkey!

This zoo is recovering nicely since being flooded two years ago. We always love to go to the zoo with the kids and once a week is sometimes not enough for them. Strollers are available for rent.

Roosevelt Park Zoo is a pleasant place for walking, park activities such as picnics, and going to the zoo.

I think it was suprising to see many animals, even if the place still under renovation because the flood. If you have children this is a palce you must visit.

very nice zoo, there were a lot of animals and even a petting zoo area. My daughter loved it. Lots to see and will be even better next year when the water animals are back as the plumbing was affected by the flood. I will revisit this zoo in the future.

If there is only one thing you can do in Minot I would suggest the Zoo. If you have Kids feeding the Giraffes is a must my kids are older and they thought it was great to feed these huge animals.

This zoo is very small and is still recovering from the flood a couple of years back. We had come the year before and it was still entirely closed. The zoo is pretty small and a large portion of the pens were still not re-opened so it was a bit disappointing as there was not a whole lot to see.... More

Nice to see this zoo, back in action. It definetly took a huge toll of damage from the river. It was also nice to see so many volunteers working on getting the grounds back up to full par. Good work. I would recommend this to any family looking to take your family around. Good variety of animals and reasonably priced... More

The empty enclosures were disappointing to see, but understandable after the damage endured during/after the flood in '11. Most of the animals were far back in their enclosures and so we didnt get to see a lot of them. We were there during the giraffe show though, and they came right up close! It was very neat. The childrens area... More

Great progress has been made in restoring one of the Great Small Zoos in the Nation. I am sure the Zoo will make a full recovery and be better than ever in the near future.
