It is completely touristic, but it is so idyllic that the millions of people, restaurants, stores and such are worth it. No one hassles you to buy, or come on in, it is very approachable, and a gorgeous change from Sunny Beach!

V busy look for 'antique' stalls you will find some interesting WW2 relics whether the are real i don't know. Area filled with little churches. Mostly geared towards Russia and German visitors.

A quaint little place with plenty of little shops to buy Bulgarian treats. Restaurants tucked away amidst the old cobbled streets, with nearby beaches and the ocean to enjoy. Only 15 minutes from Sunny Beach and well worth a day trip!

Great day out for all the family. Pleasant train ride from the centre of sunny beach on the road trains. One change at the south end of sunny beach total cost one way 18 lev for three of us. Train drops you right at entrance to Nessebar Village. Plenty to see and do and plenty of places to stop for... More

This is a beautiful old town near Sunny Beach. Easily accessible via water taxi or a 30 minute stroll along the shore. The local ladies have their lace exhibited and the prices are very reasonable. Lovely seafood restaurants but watch out for seagulls. Quaint and easily walked round.
