We did not have to pay any entrance fees anywhere, although we saw ticket booths that were not maned. This was a lovely area to walk- it is not overly large and you can see the whole peninsula in an hour or two. Inside of buildings were not overly impressive, and we were pleased we did not have to pay.... More

Went here on 3 occassions and loved it everytime! the people are friendly and you feel as if you've stepped back in time. It has a rustic charm to the place and is great for a relaxing day window shopping or taking in the lovely scenery

If your looking for an old town then this is the place! Beautiful and unspoilt, made a great day out, there was a few places to look at (entry fee required at most places to take pictures). The children were bored nothing for them to do more of a cultural outing. There are a lot of stairs and I didn't... More

If you're looking for a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you may be able to recognise it from the old buildings and pavements thats are completely barricaded over with tourist souvenir tents, kiosks, miniature shops and restaurants. It's a very busy and an unpleasant place. What once may have been an interesting exploratory site, is completely filled with tacky memorabilia. Disappointing.

You could just sit here and just look around at this beautiful little town all day and not be bored there are plenty of little stalls around selling honey and rose products. Just a perfectly beautiful piece of history.

We visited this lovely village and fell in love with it. There is ancient ruins, lovely independent shops where you can get souvineers ata eeasonable price. The fish restaurants are fantastic and there is a sacred church which is ornately decorated and somewhere to soak up a peaceful ambience. The locals are friendly and you can get there on foot,... When I went to Nessebar I didn't think there were going to be anything to do there but I was proven wrong and I would happily visit there again should I go to Bulgaria again . There is a trip to the ancient village which cannot be missed because if I can enjoy an ancient village trip then I think... More

It was a beautiful site, and one that in my opinion should have been looked after a lot more. There were ugly buildings next to beutiful ruins, as well as tourists climbing all over said ruins. Everywhere you walked you were shouted at by the locals to come inside to their resturant/bar, it left you feeling very harrasssed. Additonally if... More
