I just stopped by to see the museum on the old fort here. It is a small building with cool displays on how the military used to protect trade along the river. Beautiful views of the Missouri River as well.

In true North Dakota fashion, the place was clean, well kept and mowed to a T. The showers at the campsite were wonderful I would stay there again definitely.

We have been camping at Ft. Stevenson State Park for going on 8 summers now. The park is full of lovely full grown trees and the camp sites range from singles to triple spots (places for 3 campers) with water & electricity. The new north loop has sewer hook ups as well and the spaces are huge, all with trees....
