Growing in the right direction, but slowly.

It is a sad pathetic place. There is no shade and the animals also look sad and pathetic as well. There is playground and a carousel. They have birds, a snake, an otter and a fox. The two wolves looked like white German shepherd. The camels looked as if they had mange. We saw one crane and they do have... More

I was disappointed to read your poor review of our Zoo. We are growing at a fast pace and with growth comes construction. While part of our zoo is under construction to build new exhibits, we have done a good job of keeping as many animals available for viewing as possible. The only animals currently not on display are our... More

The zoo has grown a lot over the last few years with a new entrance and new exhibits. The otter exhibit is a great recent addition. We enjoy slowly strolling the grounds. The petting/feeding part of the Zoo is always a favorite. It is a very nice way to spend a couple of hours. It does lack any meaningful food... More

This place has so much potential. You can tell they really care about the animals. They have improved it so much in just the last 5 years. I wish the land across 42nd would be donated to them, so they could really open up and give the animals the space they need and deserve. A little foot bridge could be... More

So, this is a small zoo, however it is very clean and very fun for kids! There isn't much to it but they make it seem like so much more! The cost is just great too!

This is a very clean fun zoo. The animals really like to interact with the guests. The staff outstanding. And they have a cute little gift shop. It is not a very big zoo but they have a wide range of animals and a fun play area for the kids.

The Red River Zoo animals are northern species that love the climate here! They can be seen playing in the snow, scampering around, even sliding on the ice! Their coats are nice and thick...probably the prettiest they get all year. There is an antique carousel that is available to ride and a limited amount of snacks. Even though the zoo... More

Small but very well laid out with some different animals. Looks like the place is growing and is worth a couple hours. Become and member and go as often as you want

After years of driving past the zoo, we finally visited. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the zoo is. It is very clean & well cared for. You forget that you are in the middle of Fargo.

Was not that enjoyable. No animals, no toys, no gaming for kids, expensive to see empty cages and no live true animals in a regular zoo. We saw a farm animals not a zoo animals. And underground rodent.

We are disappointed to hear about your less than satisfactory visit to our zoo one year ago. We have many things to see and do here so I am sorry to read that you were unable to experience everything during your visit. Besides our 600 animals (40+ exhibits and 89 species) we also have a wonderful playground and a very... More
