This is a smaller zoo, which is great for small children. It is well kept and there is a nice loop for walking around the perimeter of the park. There is also a carosel and playground for the little ones. They also had wagons to pull the kiddos around in, which was great as we forgot our stroller!

This is a very small zoo, without a large variety of animals, but the displays are well built and allows for good viewing of the animals. It only took us a little over an hour to make it through the whole zoo, but the kids found it enjoyable.

Great little zoo if you have the right perspective when visiting. It is small but it has more than enough to entertain most kids. I went with my wife and teenager and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice loop around zoo makes it easy to see all the animals and exhibits. Plenty of animals to make it interesting. Lots of descriptions... More

The Red River Valley zoo in Fargo, ND is a relatively small zoo, but it is a great place for young children. It takes about 1-2 hours to go through the exhibits, including a petting barnyard area, and you end up at a playground and an indoor carousel (that offers long rides and cotton candy)....does life get any better than... We've been members of one of the largest and most well known (Columbus) zoos for years and we knew the Red River Zoo was going to be small. It's a great little zoo and the animals seem to be well taken care of. Three animals that we really enjoyed seeing were the bactrian camels, the takins, (especially the baby), and... More

It was a small zoo, but we did have fun. The price reflects the size of the zoo so was not overpriced. There were a couple animals I have not seen before.

I really enjoyed this zoo with my 2 children, it was so big that it took hours just to see everything, but was too small either. We spent two hours at zoo and that included playing at the playground on site for a bit and riding the Merry-go-round. We really enjoyed the animals and grounds.

This is a very nice little zoo. It's Fargo...so don't expect the San Diego Zoo or anything...but the facility was very clean and the animals appear to be very well taken care of. It was also a little more affordable than the bigger zoos. I would definitely go back

They were just opening this zoo at the time I moved out of the area. Then it was kind of a petting zoo with a couple of camels. It has progressed very well in the intervening years. In fact this is the first chance I have had to see a Red Panda, also the first time I saw a Takin... More
