I took my 4 small children and they had a great time. They especially loved the otters; I think they could have spent the whole day just there, lol. This zoo is on the smaller side but has a good variety of animals. We also saw that they are in the process if building a new baviary exhibit that is... More

Easy to get to, very affordable and just the right size. The otters and bald eagles were cool...why no bison?

Probably the smallest zoo I have ever visited. It takes 15 minutes to walk all the cages. Not a lot of variety of animal but kept pretty clean and neat. When I visited last summer, it was pretty much two of us in the entire zoo. There are peacocks gazing freely which we loved. Camels, wolves, ground hogs, ducks, eagles... More

This is a very nice little zoo. We were able to see pretty much everything in about 90 minutes. The exhibits are nicely designed. Highlights for us were the river otters and the wolves. Well worth visiting.

We have stayed in Fargo but had never visited the zoo. It is a very small but nice zoo. I hope that it is able to expand and carry many more animals.

When we were in Fargo, we decided to go to Red River Zoo. Its a smaller zoo, but well done. It was enjoyable to walk through and see the different animals. There is a carousel to ride. Staff is pleasant. Small entrance fee (however we had purchased the Fargo- Morehead Pass and the zoo was inclued as one of the... More

This zoo is amazing! My daughter and I went on 06/09/2014 and we had a blast! It was a unique experience and it was a clean place. I would go every day because we saw animals that we can't see up close.
