Working and running the marathon is great

We have run the 5K, the half and the full marathon in Fargo. Very well organized event and love finishing in the Dome. If you run the 5K and want a good time, then you have to... read more

We have run the 5K, the half and the full marathon in Fargo. Very well organized event and love finishing in the Dome. If you run the 5K and want a good time, then you have to start at the front of the pack. So many people run this race that you will walk to begin until there is space... More

One of the most organized events I have ever participated in and that includes major conventions, races, corporate retreats, and entertainment venues. First class all the way as everyone associated with the race is friendly helpful and very supportive

Mark and Suzy Knutson have built this event to over 20 thousand runners each year. The Fargo platform has contestants coming from nearly every state. Fargo being mostly flat levels the racing field for beginners to world class champions. The festive Atmosphere with bands, parties, food, medical stations make this Fargo weekend three day event with the 5k, 10k and... More

I have entered 10 of the past 11 marathons. It is a well run marathon with great support! The half and full marathon are well staged. Get with the correct pace group! The pacers are free and excellent. If you chose to run the 5K I warn you it is a big community event. Be sure you are in the... More

One of my favorite races yet. The crowd & the organizers were great. I really really enjoyed all the crowd supports. Would like to run this again one day.

One of the best run marathons I've done. Extra great: it started indoors on a really cold morning. Thanks, Fargo! And it was flat, pretty, and lined with spectators. Just the best.

This race is so overcrowded that you actually have to run 15 miles to do a half marathon due to all of the people you have to try to run around. There should be corralled starts with time verification to get into each corral. Organizers want to make this bigger and bigger every year. But I won't be going back... More

I've participated in the past five years of the Fargo Marathon. When I started I wasn't a runner, and still don't consider myself to be a runner, but the Fargo Marathon is a fun event for people of all abilities. This year I ran the 5K on Friday night and finally took on the Half on Saturday morning. This was... More
