I liked the fact they were open everyday but I did expect more on the native Americans, it was a beautiful place and so glad we went.

For as long as it took to build this place (and it's still not finished), I thought it would be larger and more impressive. The exhibits are laid out well, but there is insufficient information given - lots of unanswered questions after we left.

We were very impressed with the history and Native American cultural displayed. There were some areas we could not explore due to expansion of the center.

I enjoyed this museum, but it's currently going through updating and construction inside and out. I have no complaints, and think it's going to be great later this year when the work's done. It's a free museum with a great gift shop, and awesome employees and volunteers. There is free parking up the hill, and this is a great place... More

What caught my eye right away was the grounds surrounding the Heritage building. They were beautiful, complete with a water fountain and a large metal bison. The displays inside were interesting and educational. We shopped at the museum store and the staff there was very helpful and friendly. There was a lot to see and we didn't get to see... More

The new and improved .... Remodeled heritage center is amazing. Love what they have done to the place. It got a great facelift. If you ever went as a kid in the 80's and 90's this isn't The same place it's new and improved and well thought out

We very much enjoyed our visit to the North Dakota Heritage Center. This museum seems to do everything right. Exhibits are well lit with informative and readable explanatory text, the space itself is beautiful, and the volunteer manning the front desk couldn't have been friendlier. There are numerous opportunities for interaction with the exhibits many of which would be especially... More
