Skydancer is a nice casino resort. The rooms are decent, staff are pleasant and the restaurants are good. The casino comps you a lot of stuff like free play money and discounts. The only problem is that it is in the middle of nowhere.

I did not stay in the hotel, so I cannot comment on that. The casino is better than anything else I have seen in ND. It is relatively new, and has MANY machines, and you can smoke in there, which is a rarity for ND apparently. I enjoyed myself, and enjoyed donating my hard earned money :) We also ate... More

I stayed in a block of three rooms with two colleagues -- were in the main (tower) part of the hotel that connects to the Casino. It wasn't clear when we were driving up where to park/check in and we ended up walking through a connecting, much-less impressive wing of the hotel that reeked of chlorine from an indoor pool... Stayed in the hotel because we were passing through and was pleasantly surprised. The room was beautiful. We had a suite with two queen beds and a pull-out sofa. There was a wet bar and a two room bath each with separate entrances. One had toilet and sink, the other shower and sink. The room was very comfortable except it... More

During our recent stay the casino had a transformer blow in the early morning, and later the computer that runs the casino machines went down. We arrived at 2.30 pm and at that point the machines were already giving problems. This fact was not mentioned to us. So we began to play the slots. Everything worked fine until you pressed the... We visited this casino/resort twice, a week apart, as a stop over to a nearby music camp. The casino had a decent payout; better for us the second time. Both times we came out ahead. It wasn't crazy busy in the casino, so the smoke wasn't awful unless smokers moved in on the slots next to me. As for the... More

Rude staff, couldn't get our reservations correct, ended up canceling all our reservations and finding other accommodations. The entrance was clean and impressive, we never got any further then the front desk though.

Looks great inside. the restaurant made you feel like you were in Vegas. The off track betting are is greatly improved. Nice chairs and a little more private than before to watch the races in. Good varitey of slots if you are into that.

I agree with others about the service in the restaurant.Very unorganized. We dined there on a Saturday night. We walked in and there were a few tables open and we seated ourselves. We left our jackets at the table as were chose the buffet. When we came back with our plates there was no silverware at the table so we... More

The new casino and hotel looks great. I enjoy the air circulation, as a non smoker. Rooms are clean and tidy. Hospitality can be terribly helpful, seems like your with family... on that note, family isn't always helpful. Haha. Majority of the time enjoyed the customer service, just had one little minor incident. Didn't make it to the restaurant, but... More
